SOURCE: Fuel Pressure Regulator

All Fuel Pressure Regulators are usually attached to the Fuel Rail. In any case, they have a return line to the fuel tank. On your engine you may have to remove the pretty "Plastic Cover" that covers the top of the engine to see the fuel rail and the pressure regulator. Look for a "tube" that has fuel injectors going from the bottom of it and into the top of the intake manifold. The fuel pressure regulator is a round looking device attached to the end of the fuel rail with a small fuel line coming out the botttom and a vacuum line attached to the top of it. At least in most cases this is what it will look like.

SOURCE: Buick Regal dying

You have a problem in the fuel pump relay circuit for sure then. I'm betting the relay, but it could be that dropping resistor.

SOURCE: how do you replace a rear power window regulator

take the inner door panel off and Then locate 1" holes stamped into the metal of the door. lower window so hidden bolts holding the window to the regulator appear in these hols and remove, push glass all the way up and brace as not to let it fall and hit your hand or break. Then locate 3 to 5, 10mm nuts, located on the inner metal face of the door that hold the regulator to the door, and remove. Remove regulator then window lift motor. (caution when seperating some regulators from thier motor, because some are spring loaded....finger removers).
good luck!

98 buick regal has a strong gas smell

Do you know what fuel pressure regulator is ? These like to leak when they get older !
The cartridge type fuel pressure regulator (1) is a diaphragm-operated relief valve (6) with fuel pump pressure on one side, and regulator spring (2) pressure, and intake manifold vacuum on the other side. The regulators function is to maintain a constant fuel pressure across the injectors at all times. The pressure regulator compensates for engine load by increasing fuel pressure as engine vacuum drops.
The cartridge regulator is serviced as a separate component. When servicing the fuel pressure regulator, insure that the O-ring backup, (3) large O-ring, (4) filter screen, (5) and small O-ring (7) are properly placed on the pressure regulator.
It's located on the fuel injector fuel rail !

1988 buick regal stalls and restarts stalls and restarts

Sounds like a relay or coil failing.
To proceed you would need to find out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel pressure to the injectors when it won't start.

I have a 1995 Buick Regal that won't start after it has been driven and turnd off for just a short trip ( 1 to 5 miles) It starts just fine if you let it set for an hour or so. My mechanic has checked the...

Fuel pump, fuel pressure will read within specs until the pump gets hot, and sometimes this shows up intermittently, I discovered this with my Moms 96 Buick Regal, it was such an intermittent symptom / problem that I couldn't find the problem for about 6 weeks of troubleshooting, but I stumbled on the fuel pump not holding pressure(even after testing many times) then that one time I caught it, and replaced it and that fixed the problem.
Good Luck !

92 Buick Regal idles too fast and sputters as if not getting gas. Changed fuel filter, didn't help.

Check the fuel pressure first, get the schematic for the pressure. I think it has to be between 37 and 45 psi. If the fuel pressure isn't in spec, then your fuel pump is to blame. If not then check fuel pressure regulator. Also, go to the library for a Chiltons or Haynes. Happy Hunting!

1988 Buick LaSabre-Starts, but when you put in gear, it dies.

I would start with the MAP sensor.
You can also pull codes out of it. there should be a 10 or 12 pin plug under your dash in the canter of the car. here is a link that may help.
