The blower motor for the air conditioning doesn't come on. The compressor comes on. I ohmed the blower motor and it was good. I jumped the blower motor and it turned freely. With the control set 1 2 3 4 it does blow any air, I also checked for volts with the blower turned on and nothing

? does NOT?
A common problem with this control is the failure of a stepped resistor which causes only the highest speed to still function since this bypasses the resistor.
Tracing the leads from the fan speed switch may help locate it.

TROUBLE SHOOTING THE Air Condition system

Hi, when it comes to vehicle air conditioning I advise taking it to a
professional with the appropriate experience/qualification...I have heard instances of individuals being blinded by freon.
If your blower only works sometimes might be that the compressor has issues.

Where is the main air conditioning fuse located in a 1987 mercury sable

The fuse for the blower motor should be a 30amp marked number nine in the box near the steering column.
The fan switch and resistor provide the ground circuit.

My Air cond, heat and vent doesn't work at all on my car. I have replaced fuses and the blower motor. Whenever I put the new motor in it would run then blow the fuses. Could it be the compressor?

No, the compressor will NOT cause these fuses to blow. You have a SHORT in your electrical system. you have a HOT wire getting into the Ground for that system

04 Saturn vue compressor turns off when fan is set to 3 or 4

The problem is the blower motor speed control resistor, it is located near the blower motor in the housing. I exchanged mine and it works like a charm now.

The fan is not working, completely off. no air, air conditioning doesn't come on

Check the fuse for the blower motor. (fan motor). If it isblown, change it. If it's not, you may need a new fan motor. Check to see if power is present at the fan motor. If it is, then the motor is probably burnt out.

Turn on car and no air is coming out of the vents hot or cold; can here the compressor coming on but not air recieved.

Sir: It sounds like the blower motor is not working. If all fuses are good for the HVAC (Heater Air Conditioning) system then it could be an inoporative blower motor or a blower motor module, you can ddo this by using hot wires to see if blower motors (one hot wire 12V) (and one negative) ground wire. If motor runs, the module may be bad provided all electrical connectors are tight
