My jeep at times won't start, then 20 minutes later starts right up, also stalls.

There are times when my jeep won't start, almost like it's not getting fuel. It also stalls at times. I took it to a mechanic and they said it could be the computer. Is this possible, and what would the cost be?

Any thoughts on how much it would cost to fix?

I have had alot of Jeeps with crankshaft position sensor problems that cause this same sort of problem. What happens is the engine computer uses info from the crankshaft position sensor to tell the car when to have ignition spark and also when to give it fuel. Not exactly sure this is the fix but could help you to figure this out.It could be the computer but I haven't seen many of them go bad.

Sounds like a relay or coil failing.
To proceed you would need to find out if you are loosing spark to the plugs or fuel pressure to the injectors when it won't start.
