How long since a tune-up? Check fuel--spark when problem is ongoing.
I always check for codes even if the lite isn't on. Of course if the mil doesn't work that presents a problem. The procedure below for using the mil to check codes.
Restricted converter or muffler can cause back pressure and stalling or power loss . A CKP crank sensor that is heat failing can cause hot stalling and crank when cooled off . Ignition control modules heat fail the same way .

Could be alot of things. If it runs good when cold and gets worse when
warm, at low RPM, it may be the EGR valve. May just need cleaning. A
plugged fuel filter
won't cause the light to come on, but it will cause a lean condition,
which will. Possibly a bad crank sensor, they have been known to have
trouble at the connection, check it to make sure it's clean and tight.
it's on the pass side, at the rear, were the motor & trans bolt up.
first things to do are to make sure the battery connections are clean
and tight. Then replace the filter..Please click on this link its the service manual ,,,

Good luck..

This sounds like one of those interesting problems. What you are going to have to do is find a light bulb type of electrical tester, and a schematic for the wiring on the car (or get a mechanic to do it). When the problem comes up again, you have to find where the power to the module is not coming through a weak connection. It is something that warms up and then breaks connection.
The first thing to do is change the fuses for the engine controls. Fuses are cheap and sometimes they develop a crack that opens when they see a rise in temperature from a heavy electrical load or warm or cold weather changes. Other things that cause problems are the wires that connect to the battery, and splices in those wires which are usually hidden inside a bundle of wires. Also inspect the connectors that hook up to the engine module and make sure the pins are not pulling out from tension in the wires and other defects.
You said it doesn't turn over, so also check the connections at the starter. Sometimes main power is routed through there.

My 2000 Chrysler Concorde does the same exact thing. Had the shop put a computer on the car and the oxygen sensor was out of whack but that didn't give them much help on a solution. They think it's the fuel pump, but don't want to work on it until a better lead is found. Did you try anything that worked?
