2003 GMC Sierra 2500HD 6.6 Turbo Diesel...As I was starting out from a parked postion, I noticed the parking brake was still on. I let off the accelerator and put my foot on the regular brake, released the parking brake, and as I did so, the engine died. Has not started since. Was told it was the in-line fuel pump. Can't find a fuel pump in-line...where is it located?

Not a fuel pump but an electronic problem from a start isolator or a brake sensor problem

I have found that when you are going to engauge 4x4 high, it is best to only be going about 3 miles an hour. Not faster, not stopped. It likes some movement to help it mesh. I've had perfect shifts since I started this. Hope it helps. Wade.

2003 GMC 6.0L has electrical power to everything but the starter does not turn when I try to start it.

check your ground first, if your ground is good make sure the truck is in park and the brake is on. take a screw driver and touch both the positive and the ground on the starter. If it turns the engine over your starter sylenoid is bad if it still just clicks check the voltage going to the starter if it is higher than 11 volts then your starter itself is bad

How can I adjust the parking brake on my 2002 GMC Sierra HD

Umm... I could be wrong but... the 2002 GMC 2500 has rear *disc brakes with an interior set of *drum brakes for the E brakes. check with your dealer because there was a recall on the E brake for some early 2000 GMC trucks. also there is a manuel adjuster for the parking brakes.

Noise coming from under 05 Chevy 2500 HD

the parking brake rusts and makes a rubbing sound. it is inside of the rear disks. you have to remove the caliper then the caliper bracket. pull the disk off and inspect the parking brake. very common problemas most automatic trucks no one ever uses the parking brake

Parking brake won't release fully -rear wheels (brake drums) were smokin'

Parking brake cables get rusted inside their guide tubes and stick. They can be replaced by an average mechanic.
