I picked up my 2004 Honda Pilot from the auto body shop. When I got in the car my radio and navigation system say enter a code. I brought my car used and as stated in the owner's manual there should be two identification cards in the glove compartment. Well, mines didn't come with one. My VIN# 2HKYF18784H538320 and serial# U1110 L3204. I hope someone can me help me out. Driving in silence is driving me crazy.

How to reset the transponder honda pilot?

I presume you want to initialize or"sync" up your navigation
system to the satellite. You will need the 4 digit navigation
code and the 5 digit audio code. Make sure your vehicle is
parked out in the open where there are no trees over it. Turn it
on and the nav screen should be asking for 4 digit code. That
is the navigation code.If entered correctly the display should change to the disclaimer screen. For the radio to work turn
that on and you should see in the space where the station
frequency appears, the words ENTER CODE.When the 5 digit
radio code is entered correctly the radio should start working.
I hope this helps as it is as short as I can make it. If you don't
have those codes then you will have to get them from a Honda
dealer. Good luck

Quotes:
Your vehicle's audio system may disable itself if it is disconnected from electrical power for any reason.
To make it work again, you must enter a specific five-digit code with the preset buttons.
Because there are hundreds of number combinations possible from the five
digits, making the system work without knowing the exact code is nearly impossible.

You should have received a radio code card that lists your audio system's code and serial numbers. {glove box find}
It is best to store this card in a safe place at home. In addition, you should write the audio system's serial number in this owner's manual.

If you lose the card, you must obtain the code number from your dealer.
To do this, you will need the audio system's serial number.

If your vehicle's battery is disconnected or goes dead, or the radio
fuse is removed, the audio system will disable itself. If this happens,
you will see ''ENTER CODE'' in the frequency display (on the screen on models with navigation system) the next time you turn on the system.
Use the preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. The code is on the radio code card included in your owner's manual kit.
When it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.

If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over; complete the
five-digit sequence, then enter the correct code. You have 10 tries to enter the correct code.
If you are unsuccessful in 10 attempts, you
must then leave the system on for 1 hour before trying again.

The system will retain your AM and FM presets even if power is disconnected. {only on newer cars'

I brought my 2004 Honda Pilot to the repair shop and i guess they disconected the battery a "CODE" message is being display on the radio's screen, can you advice how to decode this message?

Call , or better yet, visit your Honda dealship, prove ownership, and they will help you with the code. Any time the battery is disconnected , that radio thinks it's being ripped off. This feature makes it impossible for anyone to use that unit without proof of ownership, renderring it pretty much useless to thieves. Ask your repair shop to do this for you and absorb any cost. I know I do that at my shop, and as a matter of fact, it would have been done b4 I gave you your car back!

Need the radio code for 2004 Honda Pilot

Hi:
The only way to get the code for your radio is from the Honda dealer. It keeps the crooks from stealing and selling it!
All you have to do is stop by the Honda dealer service department, have the VIN number of your Honda and they can look up your radio code for you!

How to enter radio code for 2003 honda pilot, have code but don't know how to enter it

Try this:

Use the Preset buttons to enter the five-digit code. If it is entered correctly, the radio will start playing.
If you make a mistake entering the code, do not start over or try to
correct your mistake. Complete the five-digit sequence, then enter the
correct code. You have ten tries to enter the correct code. If you are
unsuccessful in ten attempts, you must then leave the system on for
one hour before trying again.

Hope it gets you there.

2004 honda pilot radio code

I held down preset 1 and 6 while turning on the radio. The display then said "CODE." I punched in the 4-digit code (found on the side of the passenger side glove box) using the preset buttons, and viola! the stereo came back on.
