P0715 Mitsubishi Input Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit Malfunction - Wiring problem ! Check for 5 volts on the white an violet wire at the input speed sensor . Check for b+ voltage on the black / with white stripe . The last wire is low reference (ground inside the PCM ) Then check continuity Of same wires from PCM connector B-21, Pins 111 -white with violet stripe ,pin 113 brown . Check for open between PCM an the input speed sensor
the speed sensor is on top of the transaxle, just beneath the air intake hose that leads to the throttle body. for easy access, you need to pull the battery, air cleaner box, and intake to throttle body hose.Hope this helps

If no output pulse is detected from the input shaft speed (PG-A) sensor
for 1 second or more while driving in 3rd or 4th gear at a speed of 30
km/h or more, it is judged to be an open or short circuit . In the
input shaft speed sensor and diagnosis code P0715 is output. If
diagnosis code P0715 is output four times, the transmission is locked
into 3rd gear (D range) or 2nd gear as a fail-safe measure
