On a '06 Pontaic Gran Prix - I cannot get the bottom right bolt out to remove water pump. How do i move idler pulley?

To get that last bolt out you need to move the power steering pump out of the way. Just remove the two bolts holding the PS pump and push it aside. You don't have to remove the pump hoses you just need to move it an inch towards the firewall.

Removing water pump on 97 grand prix gt. Power steering pully in the way. Do I have to access mounting bolts to the power steering pump from underneath the car?

no you have to go thru the holes in the front of the power steering pulley. Usually a ratchet with a deep 13mm socket will do to remove the 2 bolts located at 12 and 6 o'clock then you will be able to move it out of the way
