I have a 2000 jaguar s type an the radio doesn't work what fuse is it an where is it located?

It looks like the "luggage compartment lid release" fuse (15A) is in the number 1 position within the luggage fuse box which is located forward of the battery

Don't know off hand (fuse locations already been posted), but think the actual Amp location may be in the luggage comp (boot), left side above the CD Stacker unit, OR, again in boot, under the parcel shelf, i.e. front end of luggage comp under rear shelf.

On all the s-type's I've had you have three places for fuse box's. One under hood, one in trunk, and one on the passenger side wall forward the door under the glove box. The passenger side one will have most of your simple fuse's for light's, radio, cig liter etc...

check the fuse box for fused fuse and replace them with the corresponding fuses.

If it is setting when you turn the engine off, but not turning off when you use your remote then it could be the receiver. If it doesn't set when you turn the engine off, then the first thing I would check is the fuses. It can get complicated to track back problems of this sort, because one sensor can throw everything off.
