you have to remove the serpentine belt then the harmonic balancer to get to the crank sensor. its located behind the balancer then disconnect the electrical plug. when replaced you have to make sure the air gap is set so the balancer blades won`t hit the crank sensor grooves.
The crank sensor is located on the side of crankshaft damper/pulley it mounted on a bracket. However it think that you may have a map-sensor problem that's very common with this vehicle. The crank sensor is not hard to change at all. Good Luck get back in contact if you need more help
