Hood release cable disconnected. Is there any way to release hood from outside of car?2004 Suzuki Forenza

This happened to me on a 2004 Forenza. View some youtube videos to get a general idea for what you have to do. I had to jack the front of the car up and put a stand under it, perhaps a skinny person can fit without doing this. The latch is visible behind the radiator, you see it and the cable coming in from the drivers side. I just reached up and manually operated the release, moving it to the drivers side, no tool needed.

The cable terminates at the latch release located at the front center of the hood. If you can get to this, usually by removing the grill, find the lever the cable terminates in and move it manually with whatever tool you can get in there.

Hood cable broke or came loose on 1992 coupe deville cant get hood up

You'll have to try going thru the grille or from under the bumper to access the hood latch.
You might want to look at another GM product to gauge were the latch is in your car.
Sometimes you can use a coat hanger as a hook to pull the latch from outside the grille or between the grille and hood. Or use a long screwdriver from under the bumper.

Go under the dash and cut the outer sheath back over the inner steel cable, pull that inner cable with a pair of vise grip type pliers to release the hood latch.

I have a 2004 Suzuki Forenza, the interior lights don't work, trunk release button don't work, windshield washer don't work. What could of caused this? If it is the fuse then which one. Help!

I have a 2004 Forenza. Don't know about the washer. The 15A fuse marked "I/P" next to the "Fuel Pump" fuse in the main relay center under the hood disables my trunk release and interior lights.
Found this out because the battery started to drain and die within a week. Several mechanics/electricians looked at it but couldn't figure out why. One pulled out that fuse and now the battery holds up fine. Problem is I don't have the use of the interior lights or trunk release.
Does anyone know what the cause of the battery drain is? Has something ground out? Btw, I got a small shock the last time I played with that fuse. Not sure if that's a sign of anything.

If the light flashes on and off, the vehicle has a severe problem that will cause additional damage. You should not be driving the vehicle.
