Car alarm not activating central locking

Hi, after fitting my car alarm I can't get it to activate the central locking, any ideas which wires I should be connecting the alarm to the central locking?

    Hi.

My car alarm and central locking system works well most of the time.It was in two occations when i parked the car and locked it using the remote as ussual and it locked well. When i came back later the remote could not unlock the car but the alarm sound was coming in all the time when i pressed the remote but the doors were not unlocking.I had to call the dealers to force the door open and after that the remote started working fine.

hi i am trying to install a remote central locking kit, i know the wires running to the drivers door lock are : brown with a yellow stripe, blue with black stripe silver dots, blue with red stripe silver dots, and a black and red stripe wire. i think the system is running a negative trigger but i'm not 100% sure. any help would be greatly appreciated as i cant find a wiring guide anywhere

It means that the remote is not passing the signal to the car . The alarm has triggered because the system has detected an illegal entry. Replace the remote batteries

2011 Daihatsu Terios 1.5 2WD. Central locking stopped working but the alarm activates and deactivates but doesn't lock or unlock. Any ideas?

Question edited for clarity and spelling.
Question moved to model category.

Some ideas here, but the best way is to find a local auto electrician or an alarm installer, auto locksmith. Better to reprogram rather than disconnecting the battery.

Central locking not being activated by remote

somehow the car when on valet mode, go to a alarm shop , they should be able to re arm your car without to much damage to your pocket, or read your cars manual, it might inform you on how to fix the problem.

Central locking not working

Firstly establish if your c/locking is factory fitted or after market. If factory fitted check the fuse box for any blown fuses. If after market then their is a fused +12v line running to a normally black unit which controls the C/Locking, check that. If no luck with that take it to a fitment center who can diagnose that within 5 minutes
