On my 1995 Cadillac Deville, my driver door window stopped at half way up. It doesn't move, buzz or anything. Could it be a burned out fuse? If so, where would I find that fuse and what is its code? (The car did not have an Owner's Manual when I bought it.)

SOURCE: 1995 cadillac deville 4.9 eng no heat

The heater in your car depends upon a flow of hot coolant going through the heater core in order to get hot air into the car. If the heater core is partially plugged, it will restrict the flow. If you have a head gasket that is putting exhaust into the cooling system, it will eventually get into the heater core. When this happens there is no coolant in the heater core to make the air warm. If the water pump vanes have corroded away the result will be very poor coolant circulation causing the heater to not blow hot air. If your car is equipped with a heater control valve that is not functioning properly, the coolant flow will be restricted. One or a combination of these factors is likely the culprit in your case.

2000 cadillac deville driver side won't open with the key

1) Key turns but dose not unlock door. This means that the rod that goes to the back of the lock has came off. This also means that is the reason door is not unlocking with the remote as it pops the lock rod inside the door which pushes the lock open.
2) Key does not turn lock at all but works passengers side door. This means that the locks has been changed in the door, but that doesn't sound like the problem as you say the remote doesn't open the drivers side door so more than likely the rod has came off the back of the lock

My 1995 fleetwood cadillac driver window doesn't

Most of the time the window motor is bad. You will have to take the door panel off to get to the motor and test to see if your getting any voltage to it ( 12 volts ) if you have the 12 volts the motor is bad. needs to be changed.

1995 cadillac eldorado fuse box location

Cadillac fuse boxes are located under the dash on the driver's side and also under the hood on the driver's side. That is the case on my 1997 Cadillac Deville. Check your manual, for your Eldorado.

I have a 2004 Cadillac CTS and after changing my battery the driver side windows won't go down. the whole electrical on the driver doors isn't working. what do i need to do?

First check your fuses (Manual should have that location for the window fuses). Also do the other windows go down on the other side with the switch on the drivers door? And what else doesn't work ( Mirrors, Locks )?

I have a power window issue with the rear drivers side window. 2001 Cadillac Deville. The window does not move but I hear a click...The other windows work. Is there a fuse for each window?

  • That click is the window off tract. You need to pull the door panel off and have a look at the tract and regulator. Sounds off track to me. The fact that it is click tells me that the power feed is not the issue and the fuses are working fine or you would not hear any "clicking."

Only the drivers side taillights dont work but the brake and turn signal works on my 95 cadillac deville and checked all the fuses/circiut breakers are all good?

Fuses are good (otherwise no lights would work) , did you check the bulbs? they have 2 filaments and one may be burned out.

Drivers seat in full recline position and will not

I would first check the fuse panel & see if fuse is burned out. The next thing I would check is the switch, wiggle it sideways, etc to see if the contacts are dirty. Last, these motors sometimes go bad, as mine did, so I got another seat for $50 at the wrecking yard & just exchanged it. There is also a slight possibility that the wire harness came unplugged under the seat or at the switch, but that is pretty remote. Rick
