Seems to be a fuel problem in my 99 hyundai accent, dies at lights and in traffic, will start after a while or with starting fluid told by autozone it has an inline fuel filter, cannot find it where they said it would be....at a loss
your IAC, or idle air control valve may need to be cleaned. just use spray carb cleaner. this valve controls the idle speed.your IAC, or idle air control valve may need to be cleaned. just use spray carb cleaner. this valve controls the idle speed.

do not i will say it again do not spray starter fluid in to the breather as you will destroy your mass air flow sensor. check or change your crank sensor and your cam sensor.. i have had the same problem and it took me like 3 months to find that out.. i have a 2000 hyundai accent and it it would start from a cold start with no problem but once it warmed up it would stall... besides the crank shaft sensor is one of the cheapest parts you can change ............
No one could tell me what was wrong with my 2006 hyundai . Why the check engine light kept being on. Autozone, Napa, Advance auto, their FREE diagnostic machine could not figure the problem. It kept reading p0012 and they didn't know what exactly that meant so... I had to give in and take it to the hyundai dealership and pay$99 for a real diagnostic test. That's when I was told it was my oil control valve and the problem got fixed, no more headache!
ok when the check engine light comes on that usually indicates a engine malfunction...what you can do is go to your local autozone and they can do an OBDII test for free..my bet says it is the cam or crank sensor.. DO NOT SHUT THE CAR OFF AT AUTOZONE..LOL
There a lot of cuses for this but you need to scan the vehicule before to know what sensor is having troubles, if is too much expensive the scan in your city consider to buy one. I see in ebay a lot of types of OBD2 scanners for $25-30!
