Question about 1995 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight

1 Answer

My 1995 old's ninety-eight isnt getting any power at all to anything. I checked the fuses and they were good. So then i waited 3 hours with the key off and out cleaned the key and tried it again thinkin it was the pass key security system. Still no luck. So then thought it might be the fuel pump. So i beat where the fuel pump is to see if it would start the car and still nothing. Do you have any suggestions?

Dead battery or bad connection/cables.

Connections are brand new. And checked battery with a tester and it read 12 volts. Also tried jumping it and still nothing.

A bad fuel pump wouldnt cut the power to the whole car would it. I dont think it would. Not sure. Its pretty old but havent had any trouble with it before

Supentine belt

The motor mount needs to be removed to change the belt. The labor guide is 1.5 hours for a trained technician with experience. There is no other way, sorry for the news.
