If you are trying to fit this CD player to a different vehicle, then you may find yourself with the Error message of "SECURE". As instead of having a conventional Radio Security Code number, this stereo is electronically paired, or "Married" to the engine management system of the vehicle it came out of using very sophisticated technology.
When it is first powered up, it will communicate with the vehicle, and a message of "WAIT" will appear on the display whilst this process is in operation. If communication has been successfull, it will simply function as normal.
However, if removed and refitted into a different vehicle other than the original one, it will not recognise the encrypted identification of the new car, and will instead display an error message of "SECURE".
This CD player cannot therefore be transferred from one car to another, unless it has first been reset back into its original "Delivery Mode" with the internal memory reprogrammed for use with the new vehicle.

Black is ground red is battery yellow is accessory as far as if you are installing a new stereo the best and cleanest way is to buy an install kit since they include wiring diagrams otherwise pick up a repair manual from your local parts shop they're around $25
Hi Jan, The codes are anti theft devices and are unique to each vehicle. If it is not recorded in the user manual (maybe a separate manual for the radio) ask your dealer for it. Regards and happy new year John
Your radio believes that it has been stolen out of the car since battery power was lost to it (as a result of the car battery going dead). There should be instructions in the user manual on how to reset the radio.
i need a code for nissan almera radio.
