SOURCE: replaced braked pads - now VDC and Slip Lights are on
I would take the car to almost any auto parts store and ask them to check the ODB II computer for codes and to reset the "Check engine light". Get the code that they tell you and it should go a long way to pointing you in the right direction to fixing this problem. It might also be that when you pumped the brakes that you somehow set a code in the computer from the ABS system and now that you have the brakes pumped up and working correctly resetting the Check engine light might fix your problem.
Good luck! Write back with any code you get and I'll see if I can help you figure out what the problem might be.

Haven't seen this very much on 2004's but on 03's There was a service bulletin issued on this. The bulletin directed the technician to perform an inspection of the Brake Control System. Most of the cars I ever saw with this issue had to have the VDC/TCS/ABS control unit/module replaced. The part number for the 03 model sedans is 47851-AM401. if your car is an 04 sedan the part number should begin with the same numbers. Usually there was an internal malfunction in the control unit that caused the computer module that controls and monitors this system to detect a Yaw Rate sensor malfunction which in turn caused the lights to come on and stay on. If your vehicle is a coupe, then the part numbers are a little bit different. I would recommend contacting any Infiniti dealer with your VIN number in hand and ask them if the VDC/TCS/ABS control unit has ever been replaced. Just so you know each and every time an Infiniti has been to the dealer and a repair order was written there is a record of that visit in Infiniti's database, and any dealer can access that information simply by putting in the vin number into their service computer. They can tell you where the car was originally purchased, service history, warranty repair history, any recalls, etc. I would highly suggest doing this, most dealers will even print you a copy of the complete history of the vehicle for a nominal charge. Hope this helps
SOURCE: My brake, slip and VDC indicators stay on.
Check brake fluid level, add fluid from sealed container if needed.
Also check for leaking rear axle seals. Look for oil on the inside of rear wheels.
SOURCE: Why is the check engine, slip, and VDC light on
u can check the user manual to get the diagram
SOURCE: I drive G35X - 'VDC OFF' and ''SLIP" lights are
VDC OFF light will always be off unless you turn it off (this is for traction control). The slip light should not be on however, unless you are driving in rain/snow and the VDC is activated.
