Will 175/70/13 tires fit 1989 plymouth horizon originally equipted with 185/80/13

Do you have 12v at the prndl switch with the ignition in the start position? If you do do you have 12v coming out of the prndl switch to the starter relay? If you do the relay should click.

I believe they were originally P165/80/13. Did you check drivers door and post for sticker?

If I understand you correctly, you are requesting a tire size which will fit on your original temporary spare rim?

This should not be done, as it may not be safe. You can replace your spare tire with a full size version that would normally be found on your vehicle, though. No harm will come of that.

may be so low you cant see it. check as low as under the radio or even in the ashtray

That hissing sound you hear is the brake booster, that big black round shaped thing that the brake master cylinder is bolted to, the diaphram inside, probably has a hole in it. Have to replace whole thing, not just the diaphram.
