It will work fine, but the speedo will end up reading a little high, as the circumference of the 175/70/13 tires will be less than the originals.

They will fit the car but are 2 sizes shorter than original equipment. Will make it ride a little rougher, and may make the speedometer read faster than your actual speed. Probably not a huge effect on the speedo.

I have a 1989 Plymouth horizon it will not crank. I have replaced the starter, battery and starter relay. I have checked all the fuses and I checked the prndl switch. What should I do now?

Do you have 12v at the prndl switch with the ignition in the start position? If you do do you have 12v coming out of the prndl switch to the starter relay? If you do the relay should click.

Spare tire sizes - I can't find a T-tire, what is the smallest size regular tire and wheel that I can replace with?

If I understand you correctly, you are requesting a tire size which will fit on your original temporary spare rim?

This should not be done, as it may not be safe. You can replace your spare tire with a full size version that would normally be found on your vehicle, though. No harm will come of that.

My 1989 Plymouth Horizon when I am stopped and holding my foot on the brake pedal I get a low hissing sound from somewhere in the car. I have checked all brake lines ad they are fine as well as master...

That hissing sound you hear is the brake booster, that big black round shaped thing that the brake master cylinder is bolted to, the diaphram inside, probably has a hole in it. Have to replace whole thing, not just the diaphram.

1990 Plymouth Horizon America troublre

The speedometer went out at 50,000 miles. The head gasket blew at 125,000 miles. I bought this car new when I started college, and it was the best front-wheel drive car I ever owned. The speedometer went at about 50,000 miles. I traced it to the printed circuit board, but Chrysler didn't carry the part, so I guessed my speed based on what gear I was in and my tachometer reading.
