Your car is equiped with an input/turbine and an output/turbine sensor the purpose of the sensors is check for slippage in the automatic transmission if one of the sensors is not working then the onboard computer system will opreate in limp mode and turn on the check engine light or service engine soon light witch ever one your car has, but you will still be able to drive the car it just will not shift real well intill you get the sensor replaced.....good luck

Now i dont know a lot about automatics especially modern ones with all this fancy electronics thats used nowdays but i think its a fault with the temperature sensor for the gearbox. But where its located and what it looks like i have no idea it could even be mounted inside the gearbox .Sorry not a very good answer from a mechanic but?? very few of our europeon cars come with auto transmission .Evan when i do know whats wrong i cannot buy the parts for the gearbox as only re-con boxes supplied by the dealer so best advice is to try a specialist in auto box repairs only .PS some of my best students when i used to teach mechanics many moons ago were the girls so no excuses like iam only a girl please

    CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
This sensor detects the rotation speed of the input turbine. By comparing the input turbine speed signal (NT) and the counter gear speed sensor signal (NC), the ECM detects the shift timing of the gears and appropriately controls the engine torque and hydraulic pressure in response to various conditions, thus performing smooth gear shifting.
