Bank 1 is at the back of the engine compartment next to the firewall. You'll need to know if you need to change (bank 1 sensor 1), or (bank1 sensor2). Sensor 1 is located in the exhaust system between the rear cylinder head and the catalytic converter. Sensor 2 is after the cat in the exhaust system after the cat.

2014 Kia Sorento LX is running a bit rough, exhaust is smelly and error codes

THE CAR NEEDS SERVICE, GET SOME?
no country of VIN told , no engine told. guess at V6 I will, 3.3L
that o2 heater is dead. or the 4wires to the oxy sensor are burned up on the exh. pipe. toss coin or better just look at it.
sensor #2 is behind the CAT. and is bad.
you posted no engine told at all, and is a 100% engine question.
S1 is always front of CAT, S2 is rear.
upstream or down stream, (S1 /S2 order)
B1 bank 1 means that bank that has cylinder #1 there.
on the 4 banger #1 is front of engine a belt drive end.
on a V6 , the #1 cylinder is most front (it's off set to bank2)
3.3L back bank row is B1. (drivers end)
so bank1 s2 is that exhaust manifold rear that goes to cat #1 and the rear of cat 1 is B1, sensor S2 rear of cat.
the heater circuit side never lies,it means the voltage or current flow to that heater is dead wrong. open/ or shorted heater or its wires to it.

the gen 3 car? 2014

Where is the 02 Oxygen Sensor before the cadalic converter on a 2006 Hyundai Santa Fe

Usually these are located on the exhaust manifold or just below the exhaust manifold and you should be able to see it in the engine bay. On V6 engines there will be one sensor on each of the 2 exhaust banks.
You will probably need to remove the engine cover to see the sensors on your exhaust.

If someone told you to replace these because you got a particular fault code I would be wary. A decent scan tool and basic diagnostics can show if the 02 sensor is working or not. Some faults often blamed on an 02 sensor are not due to faulty sensors.

Bank 2 sensor 1 is bad, where is it located on my 05 accord v6 coupe?

If this is a V6 bank 2 sensor is the one before the catalytic converter in the bank of cylinders that contains cylinders 2,4 and 6.

Mechanic said bank2 sensor1 is bad. I know my way around an engine but where would this be located on a 2002 Honda Passport LX

Saying 'bank 2' implies you have a V6 engine-bank 2 is the side that does not have #1 cylinder. Because you have a newer OBDII system, though, you have 2 sensors on each 'side'-before the catalytic converter and after, referred to as 'side 1' or 'side 2.- So your bank 2 sensor(2) are either before he cat or after, which one did he say you needed? Usually the Side 1 sensor needs to be replaced since it is the one that the engine computer uses to modify settings on that side of he engine-side 2 O2 sensor merely monitors the catalytic converter effenciency. If you determine where your second 'bank' is, and follow the exhaust out of the engine compartment to the catalytic converter, the O2 sensor is located there in that small space.

ON A 03 6 CLY ACCORD, WHICH SENSOR IS BANK 1 SENSOR 2 ? is there a diagram I can locate on line for the location?

Bank 1 refers to which side the O2 sensor is on and Bank 2 refers to the actual sensor. Bank one is always on which ever side cyclinder #1 is on. In your case it will be on the back side towards the fire wall, and will be the O2 sensor that is past the catalylic converter (otherwise none as a downstream O2 sensor).

Were is the o2 sensor located in bank 1 sensor 2

is it a 4 cylender, or 6. if its a 4 cylender the bank 1 sensor 2 is the sensor closest to the cadalatic converter, on the exhaust. if its a 6 cylender you will need to contact honda, and see which bank is one, and which bank is 2... The banks refer to the side of the engine they are talking about. a v6 will have 2 banks, drivers bank and passengers bank, sensor 1 is always the sensor on the exhaust closest to the engine, sometimes even on the manifold, and sensor 2 is the one slosest to the cadalatic converter.. hope this helps, o2 sensor explaining can be a little difficult
