My Daewoo dont want to start after we overhaul the engine. It seems that engine is getting to much fuel. The spark plugs 1 and 3 are wet with fuel and when I pull out these plugs the car starts and the fuel is pouring out of the open plugs.

As mentioned by you the fuel discharge is too much which seems to FLOOD the cylinders and so makes the firing difficult. So the fuel tuning must be done to ensure the correct pressure.
Also check if the spark intensity is good as if there is no spark there will be fuel flooding.
Have the fuel pump calibrated and the injectors checked, if not replace.

B&s 22hp engine won't start

Hi Charles:
I'd start by checking the spark plug condition and function.
Wet........... no spark
Dry............ no fuel
Check for spark anyway. Hot and blue.
Try priming carb with a squirt of gas.
Drain and flush carb. You may need to remove and thoroughly clean if gummed up.

THE ENGINE WAS OVERHAUL AFTER THAT IT FAILING TO START JUST CRANKING BUT PROMISING ,THE SPARK IS THERE WHY PUTTING MORE FUEL ON THE PLUGS

Did you check for spark at more than one or two spark plugs? The spark is there, and the spark plugs are wet with gas? Is it flooded? Or is it getting too much gas? For a flooded engine, you know to open the intake valve wide open by holding the gas pedal to the floor, and cranking for up to 15 seconds? This will let a lot of air in and clear out most of the excess gas. Or have you tried this already?
Spark, gas, and compression: that is all that the cylinders need to run. In a well-timed engine, that is. A little gas/air mixture, then compression, then a spark is delivered and it runs. One of those three things is not right or missing for your engine not to start. Or you will have to recheck timing.

Car want fire up

what engine ? what displacement?
USA? car?
it cranks robustly but will not start the engine.
the classic 100year test on gas engines is:
1: lost compression.
2:lost spark
3: lost fueling or flooded.
in that order. most folks skip #1 ,due to hope deal and no guage.

and then check spark got spark to all 6 or 8 spark plugs>
yes, good. some 94 have a distributor, is it loose>?
no, fix spark.
3: are spark plug tips dry, try test fuel , spray fuel.
3a: are spark pug tips soaking wet in fuel;?
yes, its flooded, (wideopen throttle, cranking) unfloods it.
keep in mind, flooding can happen on 1 cylinder only. MPI
or all.

I have a 1992 gmc jimmy s15....it will turn over and getting fuel and getting fire but will not crank. whats the problem? I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel relay, injectors, pressure regulator, dist.cap....

did you replace spark wire 1 by one,? if not bingo, you layed them down wrong.... (did car just die, by self or after a tune up?)
4.3L V6?

please stop throwing parts, you rich>? (60k tune up excepted always)
the EFI engines will not put out fuel if spark is dead.
what does getting fuel mean?
1: injectors squirt?
2: the cracked open rail plug dribbles?
what?
3;spark plug tips wet,
4: black smoke out tail. what/?
it's a no start, cranks perfect car, you keep saying no crank.
A car that can not crank and can never be started unless push started,
with a M/T STICK gear box.
ANSWER: ?
seems to me its flooding. , no>? soaking wet spark plug tips?
when EFI , floods a car , WOT cranking clears the flood.
Wide open throttle, its in you operator guide, RTM.
so if flooding, what i do us cut power to the fuel pump
the crank it dry. (black smoke out the tail, and then sputters an runs and stalls)
then, i try only test fuel. that is right,, no fuel pump power.
and make sure my engines sounds perfect with just test fuel.
if that is all true runs on test fuel,
then the problem is FUELING ONLY>
all in the span of 10mins work.

see scotty do that here.

Car turns over but seems no fuel getting through from pump to filter

You need to find out if the fuel is reaching the cylinders and if the spark plugs are firing. Pull the spark plug wire off one plug. Insert a phillips head screwdriver into the end of the spark plug wire and ground it against a metal engine part. Try to start the car while observing the screwdriver. There should be a spark jumping from the screwdriver to the engine. If there is no spark, you will need to do further troubleshooting to find out why. Now, remove the spark plug that the wire cam from and check it for wet fuel. If the engine is getting fuel the plug will be wet with gasoline. If the plug is dry, Then either your fuel pump is not working or the fuel filter is plugged up. Let me know what you find and I will help you with further troubleshooting.

2001 santa fe will not start. was running fine. Fuel pump seems to be working all fuses good. engine turns over. ????

since the engine turns over, it can't be the starter.
Since the fuel pump seems to be working, it is not likely the fuel, but still could be. If you are getting fuel, the plugs should be wet by now. If they are not, then try spraying some starting fluid.
It it sputters at all, then it is a fuel problem still.
Which could be lots of things.
If it does not even sputter or the plugs are wet, then it is spark.
Verify by attaching one of the spark plug wires to a spare plug that is grounded. See it spark. If not, check for ignition power to the coil. If power, then suspect either distributer pick up or coil/control unit, all of which can be checked for free at a place like Autozone, if you bring in the parts.

My 93 honda prelude dont start i did a full overhaul but i can get it to start timing is right so i dont know wat to do next

Timing is right, but the firing order is incorrect then it could not start. Make sure connection at the spark plug is in the firing order. Let get back to the basic: need spark and fuel. After several cranking, take plug # 1 out to see if it wet. If it is wet then you have fuel. If it is dry then you don't have fuel. Start to find out what is the root cause for fuel not coming. Now touch the spark plug to the engine chassis and have a helper to start engine. If there is spark strong then you have spark. If no spark then you know what to do: find the root cause of the problem. If you have spark and fuel then need to recheck timing by Top Dead Center: Piston #1 is up, mark at camshaft and 0 mark at crankshaft all line up together while intake and exhaust valve closed. Good luck.
