Remove the drivers side wheel, brake, strut, jacking and supporting the motor, removing the subframe, then the ****** itself. Finally , you could get to the clutch assembly for replacement.

I dont know were the clutch cable ajustment is.

There is no clutch cable. The single, dry disc type clutch uses a hydraulically operated master cylinder and a release cylinder mounted on the clutch housing. The clutch release cylinder is not adjustable. Clearance is automatically compensated for by internal design of the cylinder.

If your clutch is not releasing properly, the most likely cause is a worn out clutch disc, which will require more travel to disengage than the hydraulic system is designed to provide. It is either this, or your master and/or slave cylinders need replacement.

I need to replace the clutch in my 1998 Toyota Corolla, Should I pay for someone to do this or is it easier to do it myself. How would I change this out myself?

Pay someone. This is a difficult job that should take a trained technician in a well equipped shop 5-6 hours to complete. That does not include having the flywheel resurfaced. Unless you are very organized, have adequate tools, torque specs, knowledge of what parts to replace and inspect while in there, and what not to destroy when removing the transmission and what to replace when putting it back together, you might get in over your head rather quickly. I am not out to doubt anyone's ability but this is not a as simple as an oil change or a brake job that even a novice can perform in a driveway unless you are 100% positive you are up to the task of removing the transmission, properly replacing the clutch and reinstalling the transmission I advise you not to open that can of worms until you are better trained. There are a ton of snags that you can and will run into during this job and you will need to know what to do. You can't get everything from a manual or how-to book.
Good luck.

How to to install a manual trans in an automatic 92 corolla

Sometimes the pinion gear is a different size for the automatic and smaller for the manual, make sure you get this right or it will chatter your teeth out. You also need to find a car like yours with a manual trans so you can pull all these parts out, shifter, clutch pedal, a hydraulic master and slave, your speedo probably won't work, or fit, maybe. Your propeller shaft might not be the same length, but you can get that from the donor car. I would find another auto to put in there, it would be easier. Hope this helps.

I need to know how to change a clutch in a 1992 Toyota corolla but it has to be easy as possible i am not very mechanical?

The easiest possible is to have a professional mechanic do it. It involves removing either the engine or the transaxle assembly from the car to get at the clutch, and that is not a job for an amateur.

1992 Toyota Corolla CV Joint

You can pick up an entire re manufactured axle assembly at your local auto parts store. In order to replace the assembly you will need to disconnect the tie rod end and the ball joint. Remove the spindle nut. Push the axle stub out of the hub. Now with a suitable container under the axle to catch spilled fluid pry the axle from the transmission housing. Install is the reverse of removal. For more detailed instructions and diagrams go to www.autozone.com vehicle repair guides.
