Shorted battery needs longer charge. Replace battery at Advance or Auto Zone or Walmart. No charge loss test. Free installation. Keep it running until you get there.

Ya need a load test done for free at most parts stores, that will tell you if your battery is bad and or your alternator. inbyour case it seams to be a battery, as the alternator can keep a cars fuel pump going and lights ect after battery has been jumped to start the engine.

I would have my battery tested at a shop they usually can test them for free it might just need be charged up real good or might just be dead if it had been sitting for a long time with a dead battery could be toast

I actually put a a new battery in afterwards, however, the car wont start. It is completely dead. The FOB or push buttons were not responsive. So I put the old battery back in since the new battery did not help. Does my dealer have to reset my computer system. Is it possible the car was immobilized?

Make sure that you clean the inside of the battery cable clamps thoroughly using sandpaper or a pipe cleaner before installing them to the battery.
Do the headlights/wipers/heater fan all work as normal? If they don't work either, then you could have a blown fusible link.

Check that you are pushing down hard enough on the brake pedal. My wife's car did this after we changed the battery and the brake pedal was very stiff. Remember that you have to push on the pedal to start the car. Normally, it sinks deep enough to make contact with whatever switch it has to complete the circuit. I found I had to push really hard, but then it worked.

This could be a major starter problem. I just had this happen and my ES350 2007 had to have a complete new starter installed. Vehicle is 11 years old and has only 53,000 miles. Dealership installed new starter and working great. Don’t drive your vehicle if the starter is not working correctely..starts sometimes then stops working altogether. Starter could stop working while driving and vehicle goes totally dead. You have no power steering no nothing very dangerous if driving with a bad starter. Get it towed to dealership and repaired ASAP!

2020 ES350 Lexus dead battery if not driven for 2-3 days. Where is the battery drain?

This is a NEW car, I have a 2005 ES330.

Connect an ammeter to the battery. Pull the fuses one by one. The one where the amps drop, it the circuit where the parasitic draw is. May items draw power, like the radio and the ECM but one will show a big drop.

You can also make sure the hood light and the trunk light is turning off, the vanity mirror as well.

It may be a failing battery, but unlikely in a 2020. Surely it must still be under warranty!

Hi

did you replaced the battery?
if yes, do this procedure and your car will be drivable.
switch ignition ON then OFF 10 times writhing10 seconds ( in total)
then switch ignition ON and leave it for 1 minute then you start the engine.
if you did not replace the battery yet, better you change it first

My lexus key is not detected after replacing ES350 battery

The ES350 battery should have been under warranty, so this should be done at a dealership who would in turn check your keys....You will likely have to return to a Lexus dealership with both master keys and have them reprogrammed, however try holding the key directly to the dsh beside the ignition switch for about ten seconds, then push the ignition button.

Lexus es350 will not start and it gives key not detected message

Take your fob and hold it directly against the dash beside the start button for about ten seconds. Watch to see if the green light comes on. Then try the button. If it fails try your spare key same way. You likely have a low battery in the fob.
