This is a very common problem and GM has issued about 4 service bulletins depending on which trouble codes are stored. Get your codes read and post them here.

Remove the mass air flow sensor and clean it.You can get mass air flow sensor cleaner at most part stores. The sensor is on the air cleaner tube that goes into the throttle body.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Do you have a check engine light on and what are the codes if any? Your symptoms describe 4 things I have seen go bad on this car. A bad cat converter can cause this. A bas fuel pressure regulator can cause this. Pull vacum hose of fuel pressure regulator and inspect for liquid fuel. If there is any than the part needs replaced. A bad mas air flow sensor can also create this problem. A weak fuel pump can also cause this.

SOURCE: My 2008 Equinox hesitates and jerks when

Sorry Cleef, on dial up and lost the connection.
The reason it does this at higher speeds is that more ignition spark is needed to fire the spark plugs.
Yes, it's time for a tune up.
A shop that has a scanner can identify which cylinder is causing the misfire. It will have stored a code to do this.
I hope you find a good expert on chat. If not, message me back here and I will help you find your problem.
Again, my apologies for my poor connection.

2010 Nissan versa code flashes - -- - --

Couple things to check. Most commonly that light is from a loose gas cap. Try taking it off and putting back on. Then to clear the code try the following:
key in, wait 3 seconds, press accelerator 5 times, wait 7 seconds, hold accelerator for 10 seconds

Try it a few times and see if that clears it.

Next check air filter make sure it's clean, replace if needed then use above method to clear light

Hopefully that works if not you'll need an OBD2 scanner to get the code ...it's likely something in EGR, a sensor.

I keep getting a message service stabilitrak

StabiliTrak Indicator Light: If the warning light does not come on then, have it fixed so it will be ready to warn you if there is a problem. If it stays on, or comes on when you are driving, there may be a problem with your StabiliTrak system and your vehicle may need service. When this warning light is on, the system is off and will not limit wheel spin. Adjust your driving accordingly.

This light will also flash when the StabiliTrak system is active. If the StabiliTrak system warning light comes on and stays on for an extended period of time when the system is turned on, your vehicle needs service.

The traction control part of StabiliTrak can be turned off by pressing and releasing the StabiliTrak button if both systems (traction control and StabiliTrak) were previously on. To disable both traction control and StabiliTrak, press and hold the button for five seconds.

Traction control and StabiliTrak can be turned on by pressing and releasing the StabiliTrak button if not automatically shut off for any other reason.

When the TCS or StabiliTrak system is turned off, the StabiliTrak light and the appropriate TCS off or StabiliTrak off message will be displayed on the DIC to warn the driver. Your vehicle will still have brake-traction control when traction control is off, but will not be able to use the engine speed management system.

If the StabiliTrak and/or Traction Control are not operating properly, I encourage you to take your vehicle in for inspection. A certified technician will be able to offer a more accurate diagnosis.

Audi 2002 a4 v6 2.4l when the car first starts the RPMs surge up and down unsteadily this stops if you give a few revs on the accelerator pedal. When driving around 50kph the rpms surge slightly it feels...

You have two problems. The surging is from a dirty throttle body and /or air filter. The selector light could be from a bad selector switch or internal transmission problems. Have the car scanned for codes.

We have a 2007 Honda Odyssey, with a VTEC engine. A little over a year ago, the Check Engine light came on. When this happened, the engine lost power. It sputtered. It had not acceleration at higher...

Have you checked the throttle body? That requires an annual cleaning and could very well be the cause of the issues you have with your Honda.

My service stabletrack keeps come on how to fix that

Hi there:

Your vehicle is equipped with StabiliTrak, which combines antilock brake, traction and stability control systems and helps the driver maintain directional control of the vehicle in most driving conditions.
Traction control activates when the controller senses wheel spin. StabiliTrak will selectively apply the brakes and reduce engine torque to help regain traction.

Stability control activates when the controller senses a discrepancy between your intended path and the direction the vehicle is travelling. StabiliTrak selectively applies braking pressure at any one of the vehicle's brakes to help guide the vehicle in the direction which you are steering.

When you first start your vehicle and begin to drive away, the system performs several diagnostic checks to insure there are no problems. You may hear or feel the system working. This is normal and does not mean there is a problem with your vehicle. If driving conditions delay system initialization, the STABILITRAK NOT READY message may be displayed. If this is the case, your vehicle does not need servicing.

When the StabiliTrak system is both on and actively controlling the stability of the vehicle, the StabiliTrak light will blink for the duration of the event.

You may also feel or hear the system working. This is normal.
StabiliTrak will turn off automatically if a problem is detected in the system. The StabiliTrak light will come on and SERVICE STABILITRAK will be displayed on the DIC. For vehicles without a DIC, the StabiliTrak light and the StabiliTrak service light will both come on. If the SERVICE STABILITRAK message (or StabiliTrak service light) does not clear itself after restarting the vehicle, you should see your dealer for service.

Hope this helps.

WHAT IS THE COURSE FOR THE ENGINE WARNING LIGHT TO GO ON IN A NISSAN X-TRAIL2,5SE 2005 MODEL

The warning light comes on for a variety of reasons, anything from an ignition problem to vacuum leak. You can take it to your local dealership or auto parts store and they can usually hook up a reader to the computer in your car and read the trouble code which well tell you exactly why the light came on.
If you would like to read the code yourself here is what you do: To check the fault code yourself from the comfort of your own garage, put the ECM in "Diagnostic Test Mode II" by doing the following:

1) Sit your **** in the driver's seat.
2) Turn the ignition key to the ON position and wait three seconds. (Do not start the car.)
3) Fully depress and release the accelerator pedal five times in less than five seconds. (If you've got bad ankles, give up now and drive the car to the dealer.)
4) Wait exactly seven seconds. Fully depress the accelerator pedal and hold it down for about ten seconds until the MIL light begins flashing.
5) Release the accelerator pedal and start counting flashes to obtain the four-digit trouble code. Long flashes (0.6 seconds) indicate the first digit of the code; count the blinks one through nine and write down the first digit. (Ten blinks indicates a zero.) The next three digits follow in turn in the same fashion except with faster blinks (0.3 second) and a 1.0-second pause between digits.

The ECM code repeats intself until you turn the ignition key to the OFF position, at which point the ECM resets itself to standard get-in-and-drive-the-car mode. You can look up the trouble codes in the ESM/FSM; there's a bunch of them. In the ESM, refer to page EC-639. Additionally, if you get four blinks of ten (0000), the ECM is indicating no malfunction.

You can clear the code (and the annoying MIL) by holding down the accelerator pedal for more than 10 seconds while in Diagnostic Test Mode II. When you release the pedal, the ECM erases the trouble code(s).

I have a wrench with a car swerving light up every once in awhile but I have no idea what it means and I have no idea what stabilitrak is

{: ) A car swerving light on the instrument cluster is the StabiTrak indicator, sometimes called the traction control indicator. A wrench beside it tells it requires servicing.

Triangle with car and skid marks behind car and a triangle with wrench both dash board warning lights

{: ) These triangles you saw is for the Stabilitrak (traction control) indicators. Normally these lights should be off after the engine has started, unless you disable it by pressing the stabilitrak button. Sometimes it lights up automatically when driving under certain road conditions, and will turn off later when normal conditions resume. A wrench beside the triangle indicates a fault is detected on thge traction system and it requires servicing.
What you can try, stop the vehicle, turn ignition off for a few seconds to reset the system, and then restart the vehicle. If the lights wont go off, then tghe vehicle really needed to be checked right away.
