Feb 7, 2007 - Sometimes when I press the gas pedal seems like nothing happens car doesn't accelerate at all only it loses the power and finally comes to a Stop, and sometimes it recovers (shakily) and keeps on truckin'. ... I don't know this specific car. But, if it has one, check your Idle Air Valve. This can cause the engine to stall. If you can hold the gas pedal and the engine will continue to run until you let off the gas, it is likely the IAV. It will not necessarily cause the engine to run rough. That could be a number of things like spark plugs, wires or dirty injectors. It could also be a compression problem. Is the check engine light on?

Should be on or near the fuel injector supply rail.

Possibly blocked fuel filter, when you press the pedal it starves the engine or fuel causing it to cut out. Only a few quid for a fuel filter so I'd start there

try to take it to a garage for scan so as to know the problem.but to me it seems thorttle mouth fault.

Sounds like a fuel problem. Check the fuel filter.

I have a 1994 Cadillac Eldorado and every time i start it the car has rough Idle and the Idle fluctuate's. I also can feel it in the gas pedal when the car is doing this I tried replacing the throttle body sensor but it still does it I also was told it was the Idle error sensor. So instead of spending the unecessary money again I thought I would go online and see if anyone could help me with this problem.
