This problem is due to few possibilities, it all has to be tested, before confirming the problem.--------- The problem can be with pump, relay, strut or with the sensor.-------- The pump is located in the front drivers side bumper.------ The suspension pump relay is just outside of the fuse box. If you looking at the fuse box with cover removed, and you are standing at the driver side front tire area, its on the lower right side corner (black relay) just outside the fuse box.---------- The Ride Height Sensor ( Part 0025426918 )
And Suspension Strut. Front Suspension - Shock Absorber - with active Suspension - Left ( Part 2113205513 ).--------- The airmatic needs to be inspected.-------
-------- Also for the front AUX battery on a 2005 E500 Mercedes Benz,It's on the passenger side at the back, between the shock tower and the firewall. You have to remove the duct to get to it.---------- ------- This all needs to be inspected by your local MB dealer. In some cases all this possibilities checked out ok, and only computer needs to be reset. This also has to be done by reset tool from MB.------- But proper testing has to be done.In this " front end too low" or car to low " message car starts fine, but this problem later on causes noise from suspension and later on suspension related problem starts. Its advisable to get all the mentioned possibilities inspected.---- The parts are costly, so getting it confirmed by scan too from dealer is advisable.-------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

  • Anonymous Aug 22, 2011

It all relates to the air suspension only. The battery is the main supply feed for the cars electrical system so no on the battery theory you have

Clk 320 2002 battery light on dash even after new battery and alternator saying low voltage

check voltage across battery with engine running and engine off ,check with a automotive multimeter as it may just be a faulty dial ,if voltage rises to 14.7 volts or there abouts with engine at 2000 rpm then all is fine ,if low then it could be a problem with the ECU as this controls the output on a newer car like this and if its not working correctly then its a expensive dealer job but the alternator can be converted back to battery sensed charging

Replaced alternator twice, battery light come on after 1 day and pulls battery down.

Hi.
There's no good news here !
First charge the battery, start vehicle , allow to idle (put volt meter on ) battery voltage should rise . Turning on headlights and observing rise in heater motor speeds or interior light illuminaion on accelleration should be observed ! If the battery voltage does'nt rise , replace alternator (not what you want to hear but has to be done )
So good alternator and running , everything ok. if vehicle fails to start after this, check battery condition and possibly replace.
Good Luck

rise the truck front end suspension, at the front tire gently shake the tire side to side u will fill play in that area. if there is play most likely its the inner our outer tie rods. you can also check the ball joints by moving the wheein the north and south position gently checking for play in the upp & low ball joints.

2003 honda element, with a fully charged battery the car will start fine up to 1 week after that it will not start, that with the car setting idle, there are no lights, radio,or any other battery drains that...

HI, i would try to isolate this drain. once isolated, it will be easier to repair.

Here is the procedure I use to isolate a battery drain. Remove negative battery cable from the battery. Using a 12-volt test light, hook one end to the negative battery post the other end to the negative battery cable you just disconnected. The test light will glow or "light" if there is a drain. If the "light or glow" is faint, that is probably normal draw for the clock or computer. If the "light or glow" is bright, then there is a large drain. That should be corrected. Now start removing and replacing the fuses one by one until the light goes out; that one will be the circuit with the drain. Remember to hold in the button in the door jam for the interior lights.

My car wont start

Is the battery that is in the car the original battery? Most likely you either have very dirty battery post or your battery is going bad. If you clean the battery post and cable ends remember, the corrosion on the battery post is also corrosive to your skin and clothes. Put on gloves and use very old clothes. you can clean battery post/cables with a regular coke and a pocket knife. Take the cable ends off the battery post and pour the coke on the battery post and the cable ends then lightly scrape the battery post and cable ends until you get a clean silver tint on both the post and the cable ends. if you get the corrosion on your skin clean it with lots of soap and water. If the lead on your cable ends and battery post are a dull gray they are dirty. The place where the battery cable and the battery post meet should be a clean silver tint. The small winding you hear is the fuel pump giving the fuel system a precharge of pressure. The clicks you hear is the starter trying to start the car but it can't due to the battery being very low on voltage. If you look at the battery (without the cover if your car has a battery cover) and there is a slight bulging of the sides of the battery that is a sign of the battery going bad. At that point the only fix is a new battery.

Hope that helps.
Good Luck.

Intermittant starting problems

Low voltage to solenoid. Try cleaning your bat cables ends inside where they attach to battery , if you're sure battery is good. terms should be shiny where they touch battery terms.
