Most likely its the bulb thats gone, cause the fuse for the license plate light is the same as the parking lights, the fuse is in the fuse compartment, properly labeled, not hard to spot, it will show amp rating as well, but im sure its your bulb, remove housing with phillips screw driver, remove bulb, replace, reverse assemble, off you go...
Good luck...

Where is the license plate light fuse located on 06 Ford focas zx4

I don't think there is a fuse for them. Have any other features stopped working? Some vehicle features share a fuse so those features would also stop working if the fuse has blown. Check the bulbs are OK as in some setups one bad bulb can turn both bulbs off.

Where is fuse for --heater--radio--an rear door located on 1999 ford expedition ?

Easiest thing is to pull each fuse one at a time to see if one is blown, or if you have a test lamp or volt meter, you can check for voltage on both side of each fuse while everything is turned on.

Where is the fuse for the license plate lamp located

I'll tell you where the fuse is but I want to mention that if it is just the license plate lamps that are out you may have other problems. The fuse you are looking for also controls the power to the left & right back up lamps, the right park & stop lamps and I think the left turn signal but don't quote me on that. So as you can see this fuse covers more then just the lamps for the license plate. Anyhow the fuse you are looking for is in the fuse box located to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedel. It is in the number 7 position (see picture below) and is a 15 amp blue fuse. I hope this helped and good luck.

I need diagrams for the fuse boxes in the dash and engine compartment so I can find the fuse/relay I need to replace. My dash lights, tail lights and windsheild wipers are out.

Hi
There are a couple of wiring diagram and manual available on the net. The relay you are talking about is the park lamp relay which supplies power to the tail lamps, license plate lights and both front and rear park lamps. If the park and plate lights are working the light switch, relay and supply power are good. You need to verify for a broken brown wire to the tail lamps (assuming the sockets, lamps and grounds on both tail lights are good) .If none of the lamps are working then the 15A fuse number 3, the light switch or the park lamp relay could be bad (note different contact in the main light switch work the other lights)

You can find a wiring diagram and component location at
www.autozone.com and http://www.pdfgeni.com/book/1998-ford-ranger-wiring-diagram-pdf.html

Accessing the rear hatch brake light on a 1999 Ford Expedition

There should be 2 screws holding the lenses on for the hatch light, remove those and cover comes off. The plate lights, access them under the rear bumper, they twist and pull out, then just pull the bulb out the connector. The running board light, under board, which will take the light assembly out, or a small flat head screwdriver, pop the lens off the top of board.

Need to replace the fuse for the license plate lights on 1998 Ford Expedition. What number is the fuse?

Hi,

Fuse # 4 (5A) in the fuse panel powers the Park Lamp circuit.

If the fuse is ok, then you'll need to inspect the relay, or check for a short in the circuit.
