Where is the oil sensor on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma V6 engine? I need to tie into it to provide oil to an additional oil filter.
There is not enough flow at the sensor for a second oil filter. The sensor is at a dead end in the oil gallery. I recommend that you persue other options here. If you are concerned about oil contamination, don't be. There is nothing better than the factory filter...Look into adding more oil capacity; Look into an engine oil cooler; there is really no need for a second filter.

I found the oil sensor. It's at the front of the engine. I placed a 1/8 inch pipe into the hole and placed a T. I then put the the oil sensor into one end and the oil feed line to the Amsoil bypass filter in the other. Since the oil is not forced through it, the flow is fine. The bypass oil filter is suppose to filter objects down to 2 to 5 microns. It is my understanding that a factory oil filter filters only down to around 20 microns preventing only blockage of the engine oil journals but not wear and tear on the bearings and rings. However, I am not an expert. This is just what I've been told. I invite an expert opinion with qualifications. :)
