It's a manual trans but anyways I finally took it to the shop and for 250 bucks the problem was solved the mechanic told me it was a combination of things but it was mainly bad coils and fouled injectors apparently you can can buy faulty parts but whatever problem solved thanks for your input I appreciate it

Chugging Expedition my 1999 for expedition is chugging non stop, the check engine light will flash going up hill but does stay on.

although the check engine light goes off, the code is most likely still locked in. stop by your local advanced auto parts, or mechanic to have them check it out.

Why is my Accord chugging when I accelerate and the check engine light coming on ?

The fuel filter is probably full of metal too. (fuel starvation) replace it.

Ford focus 1.6 zitec petrol, engine warning light flashing, engine chugging, very high fuel consumption, fumes smell when stationary, exhaust seems ok, recently change speed sensor and coil pack?

try the air filter first and the intake.the spark plugs then and after all go to a garage for checking compression timing and the head gasket.

Its been a while since serviced kia sportage and its starting to chug along so thinking pribably fuel problem so shall i replace fuel filter and air filter and give injectors flush.

Probably time for a full tune up. Would recommend doing plugs and possibly wires along with a fuel injection decarb. Air filters and fuel fiters should always be replaced regulary.

Car Shakes a Chugs.

Have your check engine light scanned. Autozone will do it for free. Even if the engine light isn't actively on, it will tell you which codes have been triggered since the last clearing. Following your description, I would suspect damage to your exhaust is damaged. Most likely it is your catalytic converter. They are somewhat fragile due to their design and if you had it high centered on it, the honeycomb may have broken inside it. Just a guess, I'd say a replacement would cost you around $300-$500 installed.

Engine chugs under load

I would start with new set of wires & good plugs that should help.
