SOURCE: Battery warning light just started

a battery waring ligth is not telling you that the battery is defective, it is telling u that the battery is not being charged by the alternator, have the battery and alternator tested to determine th4e cause, a failing battery many times can damage the alternator as it causes it to overheat, so if the alternator is in need of replacing then it is very important that the battery be fully charged and tedsted prior to installing a new alternator if indeed that is the final diagnosis.

SOURCE: Mazda Tribute. Water leak under driver's feet. Had

Generally, water on the passenger side is the A/C drain tube.
Driver side generally means widshield or sun roof seal leak.
Did you wash the Mazda or did it rain prior to puddling?
Before disassembling the windshield seal, test ... with a water hose (Remove floormat and place a towel on newspapers on the driver's side floor).
There is a "smoke" test" that can more accurately find the leak. See if you local AutoZone will rent one (maybe free) to you.

Testimonial: "Thanks. Relieved it's not likely to be a/c. It has just rained for the first time for a month so will investigate further."

SOURCE: how do u replace the right front turn signal lamp

This is actually a little tricky, open the hood, there will be a single screw holding the turn signal lamp in place take that off, here's the tricky part, take two flathead screw drivers and place them on either side of the turn signal housing pry it back and forth a little bit, it should begin to slide out directy in front of the car, it has tracks kind of like a dresser drawer, when you done replacing the light, just slide it back in and tighten the screw .

You can find the maintenance schedule in the owners manual. If you do not have an owners manual you can pick one up at your dealers parts department.

2001 Mazda Tribute ES broke down and I got a jump. Now my OBDII port, dome lights, cruise control, and radio have quit working!

You probably need a good auto-electrician, but pull out your multimeter and check all the fuses without removing them. On top of each fuse you will see two contacts. Use the probes on those with the meter set to ohms and check for continuity. I wonder if the Body Control Module is faulty though, in which case sell it at auction all clean, polished and detailed.

Free wiring diagrams here http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb , enter vehicle info. year , make , model an engine size . under system click on body & accessories , then under subsystem click on power locks . Click search button then the blue link . Or maybe your best bet mite be to take it to a qualified repair shop. You would need factory service repair info. to find splice location .

2006 Mazda tribute. How can I check the power at the door lock seems like it's backwards does anyone have a wiring diagram or testing procedure thanks in advance

Not sure which door you are on but looks to be right side front or rear. You should have continuity to ground on both wires to the lock motor when no button is pressed. Should get power voltage pulse to Pink/Orange wire when unlock button pushed. Power voltage pulse to Pink/Black wire when lock button pushed

2006 Tahoe Z71 Lift Gate Will Not Unlock With Remote

Take the liftgate inside panel off an check the wiring , connections etc....
rear door hatch lock repair GMC Chevrolet
chevy tahoe lift gate not opening
The liftgate will lock any time the vehicle is shifted out of park on vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission and at vehicle speeds exceeding 5 kph with manual transmission. This happens in conjunction with auto door locks if enabled or independently of auto door locks if the feature is disabled. This ensures that the liftgate is locked anytime the vehicle is shifted out of park or when the vehicle is in motion.
The liftgate lock relay supply and coil sides receive a constant voltage through the battery voltage supply circuit and the ECC fuse. The normally closed contact is connected to ground and the control side is connected to the body control module (BCM). A lock function will occur when a door lock switch activation, keyless entry lock transmission, auto door lock function or a liftgate lock function has been received by the BCM. The BCM will then ground the control side of the liftgate lock relay. This energizes the relay and allows voltage to be applied to the liftgate lock actuator lock control circuit. Since the other side of the liftgate lock actuator is connected to the normally closed contacts of the door unlock relay to ground, the liftgate will lock. When an unlock function occurs the BCM will ground the control side of the unlock relay and the rear doors and liftgate will unlock.
The BCM also runs diagnostics on the liftgate lock relay control circuit and will set DTC B3825 as current and also send a Class 2 message to the DIC. The DIC will display REPLACE LIFTGATE FUSE to inform the driver that a fault has been detected in the liftgate lock circuit and that the liftgate is not locked. Faults that will set the DTC and cause the DIC to display the message could be any of the following
