I take it that condensate from the evaporator is leaking inside on the floor. Could be the drain tube is partially clogged. It is usually located on the fire-wall or down towards the floor pan under the car. It is usually close to where the A/C lines go thru the fire-wall. About 1/2 inch diameter sticking straight out but may have a 90 degree elbow pointing down.
Also, it's been extra hot and humid all over and moisture could be freezing inside the unit when on MAX A/C, then suddenly melting when switched to normal. This opens the outside air door and allows warm/hot air into the unit instead of recirculating the cold air inside the car. The drain may not be able to handle a large, sudden quantity of water.
Perform a "driveway" test. Open the hood, start engine and run the A/C on normal with the windows or doors open. Locate the drain tube by looking for water dripping. Once located twist 2 or 3 pipe cleaners together and verify the tube is clean. Then close the doors/windows and switch to MAX A/C. Check for water dripping. If it stops dripping, water is freezing inside and now you know why!

What is causing water to leak down onto the floorboard of my 2004 Mazda 6 when I have AC on?

this will be condensate from the fins of the ac evaporator in the car and is leaking onto the floor because the drain on the unit is blocked either in the hose or at the bottom of the ac box

Water leaking in drivers floorboard

Possible that the AC condensation water from the evaporator which has to flow out into the drain pipe to the outlet is clogged or that the hose coupling has come off from the evaporator drain tray.
So look under the dash to the AC section and trace the pipe to find the fault.
However if this is OK then the hot water line to the blower for heater has a leak or a joint fault and leaks at the gland. So you need to remove and connect the pipe fittings to clear the leak.

The drain line is plugged on my 2007 corolla lwhere is the drain hose?

What drain hose? If it is for the AC, in the engine compartment on the passenger side, the is a black plastic box on the firewall where the AC / heater blower fan is. At the bottom of this box is the drain hose. The box houses the AC evaporator and when the AC is running, water condenses on the evaporator and is drained through the hose.

2004 saturan icon none turbo there is water coming from the fan to the ac

Check the cowl drains where the wiper motor is housed. Many times this will cause water to leak inside. You didn't specify if it only happens when the A/C is on, after it rains, etc. If it only happens when the A/C is on, look for an evaporator drain hose coming from the housing that holds the evaporator. It is not uncommon to have clogged cowl drains especially if you park underneath pine trees.

2004 sienna ac drain is plugged. Please advise as to how to locate and clear.

In my case, apparently some rotten auto tech tried to make a couple of bucks at my expense by plugging the drain hose intentionally with a screw. Had a wet carpet for two days before finding the problem.
I found the drain hose by removing the small panel cover at the bottom of the console on the passenger side, below the glove compartment. There is a plastic phillips screw that you need to loose. This is a lock pin that once is loose, you can remove the small panel. The rubber drain hose comes out of the evaporator and into the chassis of the van.

I have a clogged ac drain line on my Mit Endevour 2004. I have read on other sites that it is located behind the barke line on the firewall but I can't find it . Help Please

hI!

The evaporator is the one that condensates, the evaporator is located inside the blower assembly in the passenger side of the engine compartment. Look for the two hoses coming from the AC ino the firewall, they connect to the evaporator, (the one that sweats) and the drain hose should be somewhere underneat.

I have seen cases in which the drain hose is gone, look for an 90 degree elbow pointing downwards.

The front passenger floor gets sopping wet after I drive and turn off the truck after having had the a/c running. It only does this if I had the a/c running. What's going on? 2003 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl. Aoto...

That sounds like the AC condensation drain tube/hose is plugged up.

The AC evaporator/core condensation drain tube is located on the passenger side of the fire-wall towards the bottom of the fire-wall, (it resembles a heater hose that is coming off from the fire-wall and it connects to nothing, and it is just to drain the AC condensation) and it is easily viewed from under the vehicle. Use long pipe cleaners folded in half to clean out the AC drain, and be very careful that the AC evaporator/core, or the heater core is not damaged from using any hard or sharp objects to clean out the AC drain.

2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 liter: Air conditioner drips condensate on passenger side floor. Is there a drain somewhere that could be plugged?

There is a drain tube on the lower part of the firewall that is probably plugged.Normally I use a pick to dislodge debris some use coat hangers but you must be careful not to poke at too hard and cause a freon leak in the evaporator core.

2004 Hummer H2 leaking water on passenger floor

never worked on a hummer but rule of the day is that there always is a drain on the firewall on the engine side. usually a small rubber hose about two inches long direced downward. Usually you can stick your finger in there and clear it out. Don't shove anything hard into it or you can punch a hole in the evaporator core.
