Removal of the crankshaft front pulley/damper can be removed without any damage being caused to the cam belt.
They are a good fit on the shaft, I personaly use a lead tup, weighs 2lbs and will not damage anything if used properly.
Tap equaly all the way round the pulley, that should be ok.

SOURCE: I cant get the bolt loose to remove pulleys from

easy , you must learn to improvise ,use a nice knuckle bar ,preferably snap on then jam this in the suspension with the socket on the nut and turn starter motor .it will come undone with no problem.most important do not forget to put some locktite on thread when re fitting, also make sure you put some white paint marks on the pulleys to the bloc so you know where they time up do not paint teh belt because you WILL change it and paint teh milage on teh timing cover and date for anyone else to know when it was done last

Location of the water pump

hi
Its in with the timing belt
The pump cost about $90cnd. you don't have to replace the timing belt if it is in good condition although I would recommend it. First you must remove the passenger side front wheel, and the splash guard. Then you must take of the accesory drive belts. The one on the alternator, and the one on the powersteering/air conditioner. Then you must take off the timing belt cover, mark your timing, remove the tensioner and the belt the camshaft gears the idler pulley and the crank shaft dampner. Then the rear timing belt cover comes off and you can access the water pump. Install the new pump and reassemble. Make sure the crank dampner and the camshaft sprokets are seated ALL THE WAY BACK, (or you'll cause yourself all kinds of problems.) When the timing belt goes back on make sure you line up the timing correctly, you can't start the engine till it is all back together and if your timing is out it won't run right or might not even start. I would not recommend taking on this job if you don't have the slightest clue of what you are doing as there is a lot to go wrong (timing is set correctly can screw up your engine), and do attempt it if you don't intend spending alot (like 10hrs) of time on it to do it right.

How do I install a new steering stabilizer in a 94 jeep wrangler (pictures of a properly installed stabilizer would be helpful)

The stabilizer dampner is a straight forward remove and replace. The body of the dampner (shock) faces the passenger side and the chrome shaft end faces the driver side. All you have to do is remove the hex nuts that secure it the the steering. It's not a big job. I don't have an image or illustration at this time.

How do i repair the gasket behind the crank shaft seal?I have a major oil leak and i was told my gasket behind the crank shaft in the front needs to be changed. I have nearly no experience on vehicles so...

Front crank seal. First you have to have room to work, so this may require you remove the radiator and some plastics. Remove the serpentine belt, remove the bolt in the center of the crank pully. The pully should slide off with some resistance but not enough to need a puller. Once the pully is off, there's your sea. Pop the seal out with a screwdriver. Clean the surface of the hole where the seal was, Put some sealer,on the outer perimeter of the new seal and some grease on the seal lips. Evenly tap the new seal into place with the spring side of the seal facing in. make sure seal is at the point the old seal was. Now take the pully and clean the surface the seal rides on, very clean and nd coat with a thin coating of grease. Slide the pully back on and secure with bolt. Then belt, then radiator. Any trouble, holler. Good Luck, Ned

Where is the crank shaft positioning sensor located on a 01' Cherekee Sport with a 4 liter? What are the symptoms of a faulty Crank shaft positioning sensor?

Look at the area around the crankshaft pulley. It's bolted to the block and senses the crank position. If it fails, You won't have an ignition spark. Good Luck, Ned
