The low pressure service valve is located on the suction accumulator. It can be accessed from below the right hand side of the front bumper cover. The high side service valve is located on the condenser and can be accessed thru an opening in the left hand top of the radiator grille opening panel. ?

Put on the turn signal and whiles its on walk around the car....Sounds like you have a side marker out.

that small plastic thing is always braking(slam the door a few times.....)you can get one from a ford dealer and its a pig to get to to repair....

Check both bulbs are flashing,it usually means bulb failure

the inner fender will provide a way. I would simply take it to a store and ask them nicely if they will do the install - -many times they will do it and at no charge. - if you must - -carefully pull away the inner fender from under the car - and look for the back of the marker -

DO NOT PRY on the plastic or you will break it and still not be able to change out the bulb.

If they look like a smaller version of your front brakes where you can see the disc (should be shiny on the side of the disc where the pad touches the rotor) then you have disk brakes.

If it's all black, or all kinda of rusted looking and all you see is a "cap" over everything behind the rim, then it'll be a drum...

95% of the zx3's have drums
only 5% of zx3's had discs. The ones that have disc brakes, also came with traction control as part of the package.

This problem sounds like a short in the lighting system. Since the side lights get brighter when you press the brake pedal, you have power crossing from the brake wire to the marker wire. Try removing the left rear brake bulb and se if the problem continues. If it does, reinstall the left bulb and try removing the brake bulb on the other side and see if that fixes the problem. If the problem persists examin the wires closely for broken insulation.
