WELL ALTERNATOR BELT DRIVE ALTERNATOR TO KEEP BATTERY CHARGED. IF ALTERNATOR BELT NOT DRIVING ALTERNATOR THE BATTERY AND CAR WILL SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING YOU WILL LOSE ALL ELECTRICAL POWER BATTERY WILL BE DEAD.

The only way it will hurt it is if the alternator belt also runs something like the water pump but if that belt only runs the alternator then your fine but the battery will not be able to recharge and the motor will die after a while.

2014 Fleetwood Storm 28F RV. Where is the fuse box for the mirrors located please?
The fuse box is under the driver side dash. The fuses for the RV are at the end of the bed. The truck chassis fuses are always dependent on the make and model of the truck, like 2014 Ford F-350. The mirrors are probably a function of the Body Control Module.

Just bought a 1988 Fleetwood Bounder RV. I no absuloutly nothing about rv's..Any suggestions?
If you did not do this before you bought it, you need to have a thorough professional check done over the vehicle to see what mechanical issues need attention. There will be numerous items to deal with on a 1988 unless it has been meticulously maintained by previous owners which is probably not likely. In particular, the brake system, steering, suspension, engine and transmission, the electrical systems are all important to run very thorough checks on.

If it were mine, I would not be driving around in a vehicle like that without thorough mechanical checks/inspections being carried out.

It won't hurt the AC compressor. As long as the belt doesn't also drive the water pump or alternator, you should be fine without the AC belt.

the air conditioning compressor is driven by the crank and that drives tha alternator. you have to take off all the belts in order to change the alternator belt.
