Yes it is a replaceable part. Just get the whole tensioner pulley assembly from the junkyard, its held on by 3 bolts and bolts into the timing cover.

Kia sedona, broke the bolt to the serpentine tensioner pulley, now what

Asuming you broke it off in a blind hole, if you have a wire feed center a nut over the remaning stud & weld if on let cool put penetrating oil on it & work it gently back & forth even if its below the surface slightly on aluminum or cast the weld will not bond to the surface just the bolt you may need to do this process several times then go to dealler for new bolt. Note this works extremly well on broken ex. manifold bolts, we havent drilled in years hope this helps Danny

Replace belt tensioner pullys

Check to make sure all pulleys and brackets are tight. Look for wear and tension on belts. Look for alignment to make sure they haven't shifted out of intended location. Take the belt off and spin by hand all of the pulleys, pwr steering, alternator, A/C, water pump, tensioner and make sure none of them are defective.

I also need help knowing how to replace the belt tensioner pulley. It looks like you can't get out the bolt because the pulley is real close to the frame, unless the bolt has nuts on both ends, but it doesn't look like it.

How do i loosing up the tension belt's to replace the water pump??

serpentine belt drive or conventional serpentine uses a tensioner pully on the side if it it has a 3/8 or 1/2 drive opening for a socket put it in a pullaway from the direction its tensioning and slip it off. old school belts loosen the alternator adjustment and back the alt looseng nut by slide and the 14mm under it that brackets it down.

Need to replace pwr steering belt...it fell off. want to replace

The tensioner is spring loaded and there is no setting. It floats with the belt. It's the pully with no groves that applies pressure to the back of the belt. Good luck. and be carefull.

I dont know which is the tension pully to get the belt off and how do i do it

What are you removing? alt? power steering?
Belt Tensioner Operation: 0900823d8004ab61.jpgThis device functions as an idler pulley and is located on either the inside or outside of the accessory drive belt. Its provides the correct tension for initial belt adjustment and maintains this critical tension adjustment during vehicle operation. It can be found on conventional V-belts and the newer serpentine ribbed belts.
