Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You usually hear clicking when the battery or connection is bad. Since you hear nothing and you have interior power, it is not the battery, alternator, or connection. It appears to be a bad starter, starter solenoid, ignition module, or lock cylinder. Has you key been getting stuck recently? Ever? I would suggest finding your starter and hitting it. When you mess with the panic button, vibrations can trigger the starter, therfore starting the vehicle as you have said. Also, the security/alarm can cause a vehicle to not start also. But first, try hitting the starter. Do you have an alarm light on? Have you tried entering your security code? Let me know please and thanks.

Yes you want to replace the starter as soon as you can. It can last a day or two, even a few weeks. But eventually, hitting it will no longer work. If it just started, you may have a few days, but change it as soon as you can so you don't get stranded. When you look at it close, make sure it is not a loose wire. Take off the hot side battery post before you change it also. If not, it can shock you because it is connected directly to the battery.

I checked all the fuses. No fuses are blown. The battery is fully charged & the electrical, lights, & radio all work fine. The 2004 Toyota Sienna van still doesn't even turn

Can be a bad contact in one of the cables. A bad contact in a switch or electronic switch. a bad relay, and a dozen other causes.
Please start measuring to where the power comes and where it stops. You are close to the car, we are not. For a correct diagnose use a multimeter and look under the hood.

Hi all,I have a Ford focus 2004 tdci 1.8 and the immobiliser intermittently won't turn off,I've tried both keys and its still won't start.kind regards Dean

Ford products are sensitive to changes in Battery voltage. The system views low Voltage as an attempted theft and makes the Alarm go off.

Remove the Battery, return it with a full charge or new Battery. Some other symptoms would be slow cranking or clicking like a dead battery. The Antitheft reduces starter Voltage to around 7 Volts making starting nearly impossible.

Please rate my info. If all else fails, the Identity in the car memory may no longer match the identity on the car keys. You would need to have a Dealer rematch the keys to the car.

92 Toyota 4runner truck was running perfectly fine Later in the day went to start and the alarm just started going off and wouldn't turn off. Truck won't start even with keys turned in igniti

The alarm system somehow got activated , this is usually because the battery becomes discharged or disconnected try doing this:
Remove the key from the ignition
disconnect the negative battery terminal
put the key back in and turn to ON
exit the truck and leave door open
reconnect the battery terminal
get in and leave door open, if the alarm horn stays off it should start.

2005 Chevy Aveo, clicks but start won't catch and when jumped it doesn't charge what could it be??

Your alternator is not charging the Battery, I would replace the battery with a new gel battery and have the alternator checked, bets on your battery just died.

1992 toyota pickup won't start and battery won't charge

Sounds like your battery is just too dead, has enough juice to light up the system for a minute but cranking drains it and if it wont charge then deff fried, you could try removing the battery and starting the car with cables to confirm the starter still works. If a bettery is too dead then when you are jumping it, it takes to much of the power just trying to get through the battery.

2004 matrix will not start, turn key and will do nothing and i took the starter to be checked at the local Auto zone and it checked out fine

Does the lights go dim when you try to start the car?? If not then there is a starter relay in the fuse panel under the hood, try replacing it.The inside of the cover on the fuse box shows where the relay is located. If the lights go dim, then it's your battery is too low. It should be no less that 12.5 vdc.

2004 Pontiac grand prix gtp won't start- fully

You need a new starter solenoid. It is essentially a heavy duty remote switch that is activated by your ignition key switch. The solenoids get stuck or don't conduct well after 6 to10 years.
