here is a bing related search with MULTIPLE walk through videos on how to replace / exchange windshield wiper motors.
be sure to refine your search by navigating for your specific brand vehicle . for you it would be Chevrolet.
and if it is not the same year do not be alarmed. still continue to watch the video. sometimes just because it is a different doesn't always mean it could look exactly the same!
the other link is a bing search for the windshield wiper motor for your vehicle.
The wiper motor control module needs to be replaced, if you can buy one. The control module is mounted to the wiper motor. If you can't buy just the module, you will need to buy the entire unit. I am pretty sure you need the control module, but you can verify this by unplugging the plug that goes into the wiper motor and checking each of the pins on the plug with a 12 volt test light connected to ground while someone operates the switch. If the switch is good, you will get voltage on high as well as delay. I was able to locate an entire assembly on EBAY for less than the cost of the module from the dealer. Good luck!
EASY. there should be 3 torx head screws and take the wiring plug off, it should pull straight off. then put the new one on. Some of these were recalled. Call the dealer with your VIN number, it may be covered, if it is, its FREE.
