I have a Hummer 2004 h2 that has a vibrating sound that appears at speeds above 75 mph .I thought it was the sunroof wind deflector but I sealed it with black silicone . It sounds like the two square boxes located on each side of the winshield that are made of plastic but I do not see a way of getting to them.

It is the seal on your windshield. I had the same problem with mine & the dealership was able to replace the seal pretty quick.

if you do not use the sunroof on a regular basis the water standing in the track fills the cable tube and causes it to rust. unfortunately the only way to fix it is to replace the entire sunroof track. they do not sell parts separately except for the motor. to test the motor remove the 2 screws in the cover the switch is attached to. slide the cover foeward and it will come off. leave the wires plugged in and take the 2 10mil bolts out of the motor and it will come off. then try the sunroof switch and see if the motor works. if so, you need a new track. if not check voltage to motor. sanders paint and body 34695

I can't solve the problem but was hoping you found the answer. I have a 2003 Hummer H2 and I am having the same problems if started in park or Neutral it will idle fine but if I put it in drive or reverse it will not idle

it can be easily changed by removing the plastic cover then u will see the light bulb, don't try to change it from the back, it wont open :)
