2000 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3. Misfire on 2 cylinders?

Question edited for clarity. Full year make model in title and mis-spelling of 'misfire'.
Question moved to sub category.

The misfire code only tell you that, unfortunately it doesn't tell you why. When swapping parts to test theories, only swap one thing, one cylinder to one cylinder and only one item, the coil, the plug or the wires, not all three. What was the make of the Crankshaft Sensor? Only buy quality OEM replacements as there is a history of bad ones from Mexico and China.

Wouldn't hurt to check the wires again. This has a neat diagram.

Code p0300

The code PO304 means that cylinder 4 is misfiring and it could be that the sparkplug is bad and needs to be replaced or sometimes it could be the sparkplug wire

I have a 2000 Hyundai accent 1.5. I have a low end miss in the #4 cylinder. I know this because my check engine light blinks at idle but stays on solid when moving. What could be causing this?

If you already know that you have a misfire ,and it
is on cylinder #4.
Wouldn't you work on diagnosing the ignition
components that give you spark?

What is a cylinder 3 misfire

CYLINDER 3 MISFIRING. MEANS NOT FIRING .CYLINDER 3 IS MISSING FIRE.COULD BE FAULTY OR DIRTY FUEL INJECTOR.YOU COULD HAVE BAD SPARK PLUG OR COIL AND WIRE.CLEAN FUEL INJECTORS CHANGE PLUGS AND COIL TO NUMBER 3 CYLINDER .WHEN YOU DO A LITTLE TUNE UP.THAT WAY YOU WILL KNOW IF YOU HAVE A MECHANICAL PROBLEM TO 3 CYLINDER LIKE LOW COMPRESSION.LEAKING INTAKE AT 3 CYLINDER OR BURNED OUT VALVE.

I have a problem with my hyundai accent. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE TIMING BELT, TIMING CAIN HAS BROKEN. WHAT KIND OF DAMAGE COULD RESULT FROM THIS. THE ENGINE HAS A LOT OF MILES ON IT AND IT IS A 2002...

DAMAGE!!

The cylinders will misfire, I did it on a Honda Civic and lost a cylinder. Rigged it so the car would run on only 3 cylinders and I returned my lease not long after. The timing belt is disastrous if it isn't changed. It used to not be a belt, it was a timing CHAIN, and no one ever worried about it. Now we have a belt and when it goes, be somewhere else...

Bottom line, expensive if it has really gone, if it just needs a new timing belt, no big deal, usually 90000 miles I believe is when you would change it, but not sure on the Accent.

Good luck!!

2000 hyundai accent code 302 misfire and slow responce o2 senser

Yep!.. Typical with an engine cylinder misfire. Inspect the plug and ignition wire, especially the insulator. If you see a 'christmas tree' pattern on the insulator, that's where your problem is.
