Does the service engine stay on after you have restarted the vehicle? If so connect a scanner to see what codes come up. Could be as simple as an idle adjustment.
No GM doesn't use a reset switch (really called a "Inertia fuel pump cutoff switch"). The fuel pump is cut off by an oil pressure sensor. If this car has the original pump you likely just need to drop the fuel tank and replace the fuel pump. Does it start if you spray starting fluid into the engine air intake?
it is the automatic load leveler that pumps air into the back shocks to level the car so it rides better when there are lots of people or weight in it. it is in the frontof the car opposite the battery, just disconnect it. had the same problem on my 1990 olds 98.
