I have a code p0303 misfire cyl 3 , ford says bad injector. I bought a new one switched it. Still p0303 ,took it back to Ford they still said bad injector. I swaped from cyl 1 to cyl 3 . Still p0303 ,it has a new cop and plug also. Oh and Ford tested the electrical to the injector thats was good also compression tested good. Any help would be great.

Three sensors need checking/replacing
MAF sensor(mass airflow sensor)
ECM (engine control module)
ECT (engine coolant temp sensor)

The P0606 fault code means that there's an error with your power control module (PCM). Your PCM is the computer inside your car that monitors all the vital systems. Basically, it's the brain of your car. Every time you start the car, the PCM runs a series of checks to make sure everything is okay.
What the P0303 code means. The P0303 DTC is set when the ECU detects multiple misfires from cylinder 3. Misfires cause the ECU to set the Check Engine Light and put the vehicle into a failsafe mode to prevent damage. The Check Engine Light will remain until the code is repaired.
The car is in limp mode. P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected P0306 Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected You need to clear fault codes with a scanner and see if the same fault occurs, if so, check the injectors for those cylinders. Swop cyl 3 injector with cyl 4 injector, if you get a code P0304, the injector is not working, and needs to be checked for a bad connection or maybe the injector is faulty, do the same with cyl 6, swop with cyl 5 Please keep me posted
code p0303 refers to cyl 3 misfire detected ===causes engine mechanical fault--wiring--ignition/fuel system--injector--ECT/MAF sensor--ECM
code p0316 refers to misfire detected during start up --first 1000 revs===causes --engine mechanical fault--wiring--ignition/furl system--injector
the common fault cause is ignition/ fuel system and injectors so I would be checking fuel pressure and injector systems for clean and wiring connections are good especially on no 3 injector.
it means only, that combustion energy on cylinder 3 is weak.
it can be :
bad spark. #3
bad fuel ratio (lean or too rich) #3 (injectors)
bad compression. #3
we find it by doing tests, with simple tools
p303 is a cylinder 3 missfire I woul first check the coil and then the ingnition module, Then if this dont work you could have a bad injector. If after testing and still no fix you should check the compression in that cyl.
You are mis fireing on cyl 1 and 3 if you replaced plugs and wires and coil this is going to be a fuel injector issue or valve issue. See if you can swap the injectors with known good cyl. and see if it changes. Or have a shop do a fuel injector service on it to see if it helps. It may be to late for the fuel injector service.
po303 is misfire on number 3 cylinder. It could be a bad spark plug or wire, maybe a loose plug wire, could be alot of things. injector problem drop of water in fuel that happened to hit that cylinder. but most likely a plug misfired. I would clear the code and see if it happens again. If so give care a tune up.
