SOURCE: hooked up the battery reversed polarity. Blew the fusible link but replaced it. Now the car will crank but not start.

start checking fuses hopefully its just another blown fuse if your lucky

but if all the fuses are good, you probably fried something like the computer or ignition module and probably the radio

hopefully its something simple and cheep but don't be surprised if you have to shell out some cash to replace the computer

SOURCE: 1998 mitsubishi mirage wont start?

check if the fuel pump is working, if you have someone near the tank and someone else crank motor you should be able to hear a bzzzzzz rom the tank from the pump. if no noise is heard then hit or thump the tank, this can make a fuel pump start to work again, if it starts, then the pump is almost dead

03 mustang dash and tailights are working

if you installed an aftermarket stereo, the tail lights run through the illumination. make sure all wires are hooked hot to hot and ground to ground. if you installed it while battery was hooked up and touched a wire, most likely blew a fuse

Im putting an aftermarket radio in and i dont know what the yellow and black wire hooks up to

Your black wire is for ground, this can be connected to the metal framing of the dashboard. The yellow wire is the memory wire, and needs to be connected to a constantly live 12v source.

How do I connect the clock in suzuki Alto

ARE YOU REPLACING A CLOCK OR ADDING ONE?

if replacing just use the old wires
if new, and car never had one, then you need to run the one 12v line to constant power, the other to switched power, and then splice the other two wires into a circuit that has the dimming control hooked to it, such as a dash light or radio light

I need to know what colors mean what, so i can hook my cd player up

Red - Power
Yellow - primary power must be joined to the red
blue - Remote
Black - ground or negative
To find your speaker wires check the color of the cord behind each speaker than match it with the same color in the dash.
or the easy way is to use a normal 1.5v penlight battery and try each speaker cord behind the dash and listen to which speaker give off a crackling noise so you can get the balance on the cd player right.
If u trying to find power in the car and don't have a tester than get a 12v light or bulb join the negative to the body and push the positive wire into each one of the holes in the factory plug in the dash one at a time until the light comes on. That is your positive the rest is easy. (DIY guru)
