A/t 96 vit. hot and gold engine;/trans both? slow upshift. the most common is this.:

1. TV cable to box is jammed at any point of cable or kinked.
2. low pump pressure in the box or filter in box pan clogged.
3. scanning the TCM shows errors ignored? oops
4. the OD lamp flashing odd , means TCM errors. so get them.
5. normal is the shift lever, rocker switch (?N?P?) normal or power shift mode, power shift mode delays shifts for sure. so switch it back.
6. internal transmission leaks can cause #2
7. low (super) low tranny ATF (done hot,in park and engine running never overfill any box or use the wrong ATF. ask. first or read the glove box guide (IIRC,Dexron 3 to max #). RTM manual,
8. if TCM sees speed error from speed sensors ,the VSS sensor at rear of tranny reads slow, the shifts will be late. speedsensors

most likely in the fuel tank

Check the fuses and for power to the lights.

Need to hook up a set of gauges and watch the low side pressure. If it drops to 15 psi and the clutch cuts out then you may be low on freon. If the high pressure goes to 300+ and the clutch cuts out then you have a problem with the ac cooling system.

It may be out of timing!

Wow, well that can get expensive depending upon what the problem is. Be sure who ever is working on it is qualified as air bags can be very dangerous. I dont Usually recommend dealer repair services but in this case I would.

check the fuse

I would look at the headlight switch.

have the charging system checked by an accredited auto specialist shop include a load test on the battery and drive belt tension and condition indicates problem wiring or voltage regulator

Either the clutch plates don't have sufficient clearance when the clutch pedal is pressed or they do have the clearance but are failing to separate. Air in the hydraulic system, worn or maladjusted linkage or cable are the common causes of the first and oil/grease contamination or rusty splines the second scenario. A failing clutch pilot bearing, if fitted, could also the symptom.

Air control valve maybe or it could be an intake or vacume leak

Check /replace thermostat

Flush and replace pas fluid to verify fault. It could be in the steering rack. If no improvement, try disconnecting steering rack from hubs and turn by hand to see if you can feel tightness. Check hubs for freeplay whilste undone.

It isn't typical for the parking lights to be controlled by a relay. These are mostly wired directly from the main lighting switch via a fuse unless it is a multiplexed computer controlled system. If so the Haynes wiring diagram will be needed for deeper investigation. I suggest you begin by checking the fuses.
