2008 Suzuki xl7 changed both fuel pumps because it was running rough with sputtering and would not pick up speed.

If your 2008 Suzuki XL7 was running rough with sputtering and would not pick up speed, and you have already changed both fuel pumps, then there may be other possible causes for the issue. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Check the fuel filter: If the fuel filter is clogged or dirty, it can cause fuel flow problems and result in similar symptoms. Try replacing the fuel filter to see if it helps.
  2. Check the fuel pressure: Use a fuel pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail. If the pressure is low, it could indicate a problem with the fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors, or other components.
  3. Check the spark plugs: Worn or fouled spark plugs can cause misfires and rough running. Try replacing the spark plugs to see if it helps.
  4. Check the air filter: A dirty air filter can restrict airflow to the engine and cause poor performance. Try replacing the air filter if it's dirty.
  5. Check for vacuum leaks: Leaks in the vacuum system can cause rough running and poor acceleration. Check all vacuum hoses and connections for leaks or damage.
If none of these solutions work, there may be other underlying issues with the engine or other components that require further diagnosis by a mechanic.

Where is the fuel pump relay on 02 Suzuki esteem gl

The fuel pump relay on a 2002 Suzuki Esteem GL is located in the engine compartment, in the fuse and relay box on the driver's side. Here's how to find it:
  1. Open the hood of your car and locate the fuse and relay box on the driver's side.
  2. Remove the cover of the fuse and relay box.
  3. Locate the fuel pump relay. There should be a diagram on the underside of the fuse and relay box cover that indicates which relay is the fuel pump relay.
  4. Once you have located the fuel pump relay, you can either test it or replace it if necessary.

1990 suzuki samurai carbureated going down the road and timing belt broke put a new belt on and put in time but not getting any spark out of coil checked all fuses and I have power going to the coil

If you have power going to the coil but are not getting spark, it could be due to a faulty ignition module or a faulty coil. To check the ignition module, you can perform a bench test using a multimeter. You'll need to disconnect the module from the vehicle and use the multimeter to test the resistance of the module's internal components. If the readings are outside the recommended range, the module may need to be replaced. If the ignition module tests okay, you can check the coil using a similar process. You'll need to test the resistance of the coil's primary and secondary windings to ensure they are within the recommended range. If the readings are off, the coil may need to be replaced. It's also possible that there could be a problem with the distributor cap or rotor, or that there is a problem with the wiring or connections leading to the coil. Checking these components and connections could also help pinpoint the issue.

How to wire an aftermarket fuse block for 84 suzuki GS550L

Wiring an aftermarket fuse block for an 84 Suzuki GS550L involves a few steps. Here is a general guide to help you get started:
  1. Determine the location where you want to mount the aftermarket fuse block. A good location would be near the battery or under the seat for easy access.
  2. Locate the positive (+) and negative (-) wires coming from the battery. The positive wire should be red, and the negative wire should be black.
  3. Connect the positive wire from the battery to the input terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. The input terminal is typically labeled "B+" or "Bat." Use a suitable gauge wire to ensure adequate current flow.
  4. Connect the negative wire from the battery to the ground terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. The ground terminal is typically labeled "GND" or "Ground."
  5. Identify the electrical components that you want to connect to the fuse block. The GS550L has various electrical components such as the headlights, turn signals, ignition, etc.
  6. Determine the appropriate fuse rating for each electrical component. Refer to the owner's manual or the component manufacturer's specifications for the recommended fuse rating.
  7. Connect each electrical component to a separate output terminal on the aftermarket fuse block. Each output terminal should be labeled with the electrical component name, and the wire gauge should match the component's power requirements.
  8. Insert the appropriate fuse for each electrical component into the corresponding fuse holder on the aftermarket fuse block.
  9. Test the electrical components to ensure that they are working correctly.
It is essential to follow the manufacturer's instructions and consult a qualified mechanic or electrician if you are unsure of any step. Also, ensure that you disconnect the battery before working on the electrical system to avoid any electrical shock or short circuits.

I have a 1985 Suzuki GS700ES. Where do wires from my 2 coil packs go to which spark plug. Thanks

The 1985 Suzuki GS700ES is a motorcycle that is equipped with two coil packs, each responsible for providing the spark to two cylinders. To determine which wire from the coil pack goes to which spark plug, you can consult the wiring diagram for your motorcycle. If you don't have a wiring diagram, you can also determine the correct wire placement by using a spark tester. To do this, you'll need to disconnect one of the spark plug wires from a spark plug and connect it to the spark tester. Then, turn on the engine and observe which spark plug is firing. Repeat this process for each of the remaining spark plug wires until you have determined the correct placement for all of the wires. It's important to ensure that the wires are properly connected, as incorrect placement can result in poor engine performance or damage to the ignition system.

IT is a feature that flash rate is a warning, and most are controlled by BCM body brain that detects TURNS currents wrong, too high or too low. so you are alerted to fix it. now. see? NO VIN NO JOY, no books , no parts no service. lacking a vin the dealer will not talk to you lacking VIN unless the car is smack in front if them. see why? so they don't lie to you.

Why is my car hard to start up for the first time, but starts up normal until it sits for a few hours?

Sounds like your fuel system is loosing prime. If you can't smell fuel or see a visible leak anywhere, I would look to the injectors. Check your oil and see if you happen to be overfull. That is a pretty good give away that you have an injector stuck open and allowing fuel to leak into the engine when off.

Battery draining when key off on 1987 Suzuki samurai jx

Phantom drain (dark current) 101 class. 1.3L 8v engine, we just sold one ,100% restored, frame up. for big cash. (we did all 4wd restores for years) the answer is the same on all cars, trucks or any vehicle you can name,. same using same tools and same methods. using an AMMETER we measure the drain first you do know that a bad battery can have huge bad self drain right? (super common) so we measure it first, at Plus bat + lug. 0.050amps (50mA) is max on most cars, even less on this tiny 1 computer ECU car. has TBI injector x1) if more than that then we at the same time remove fuses 1 by1, and see if drain ends? if not the alternator can be bad (diodes inside burned) if yes, found a fuse with drain the drain is off that fuse. easy no? what what load is there is only covered in a suzuki service manual schematics. most drains are lamps stuck on so we can find this easy at night, just looking, no lamps on in say a garage deed of night no moon, eye ajusted to dark omg glove box lamp is on. or ???? 1000ma drains are lamps stuck on. most times or ratty wiring hacks in the car (common) 36yo car. a few left running now this old tell me what fuse it is and I will tell you what it connects to. for sure (car not hacked up)<<means still stock. the 80amp huge fuse if pulled , drain ends the alternator is bad. (as will be this old ) alternator has no ECU controls(a good thing) end

Changed the spark plugs in my 2002 Suzuki xl7 and now it won’t stay running. Drove fine before I changed plugs. Sounds like it is missing.

Did you set the gap on the new plugs to factory settings before putting them in? If not, they may not be the right gap. Also, any number of other issues are possible such as: 1. Wrong plugs 2. Damaged wires when removed from old plugs (Plug connector wires can be easily damaged when removing from old plug if just pulled off and special tool isn't used.) 3. Stripped threads on plug allowing gas blow by and poor compression. No. (2) seems to be the most likely cause without knowing anything else. A new set of ignition wires after 15 years of service is not something frivolous to do and money well spent.
