How can i tell if a fuse is blown for a 97 subaru

Pull them all and look at them. This does two things. First it tells you that the fuse is bad. ( a break in the wire) second it gets rid of any corrosion problems. Corrosion is at least 25% of all fuse problems. I used to use a test light to check fuses. I haven't used it in years.

Check Engine Light turns on? You surely know, we have had those for 35 years on all vehicles, & if any dash light stays on after the motor is running, you have a vehicle problem that has to be diagnosed Have to check for OBD Codes--not keep using it Then component test the system that set the fault code, to find a problem For most people that would be at a repair shop

On subaru impreza 2008. the key remote stopped working and map light dont work. back up fuse keeps blowing every time i plug one it.

Fuse kept blown means your wires are shorted to ground somewhere in the remote control module or your map light. Since when you press the remote the map light also turns on, I'd try something simple first. Remove the map light BULB from the circuit to check if that circuit is the issue to isolate the problem.

What year manual transmission fits to a 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX?

Pretty much any "EJ" transmission will fit any "EJ" engine, the only problems are whether the clutch is a pull or push type release bearing? That will also make a difference how the clutch slave cylinder mounts up. If it isn't a turbo model trans, it will not take the HP that the engine puts out for very long. The Impreza STI manual trans will bolt up, but there will be some exhaust fitment issues where the down pipe bracket connects to the trans.

Can I remove my cruise control

The short answer is no, it won't affect your car. Cruise isn't part of the engine control. Why would you want to remove it? It doesn't take any horsepower and effects no other system.

Where arefreeze plugs

Subaru vehicles don't actually have what most people call freeze plugs. They do have plugs thread into the block, and there are two of these plugs on the bottom of the block. They take a 14mm allen-wrench to remove or install. The plug on the drivers side of the block, above where the engine oil dipstick meets the oil pan, is where the factory accessory block heater gets installed if needed. I hope this info helps!

1994 subaru wrx

There's several ways to improve engine performance. You can change internal engine parts(crankshaft, camshaft, piston, rods, valves, gasket, block) the air intake(filter, piping) the exhaust, turbocharging (although i don't know how good it would be since it is an aspirated engine) and there are more. This is something that requires money, time and expertise. You can do some of the modifications by yourself, you can start by upgrading your air intake, but other modifications require engineering expertise to be sure what the engine can still handle and how can it be upgraded.

How much does it cost to fix the speedometer on a 1995 subaru impreza

Hi. First you have to ascertain whether the problem is in the cable or the cluster. They are both separate costs. The cable is definitely cheaper than the cluster. http://parts.cioccasubaru.com/p/Subaru_1995_Impreza/CABLE-SPEEDOMETER/49247685/37410AA151.html?partner=googlebase Hope that helps. G
