CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON IN YOUR CAR

Check engine light all of a sudden appears lit on your dash....never been on before....what is going on????

Drive nearest to the front door....walk up toi the counter....when the copunter man asks you..."How can i help you", simply reply by stating Hello, I understand you folks will scan my vehicles computer system for free and hand me a print out of the possible components that may have gone bad by means of this scan, can you do this service for me and perhaps explain the problem to me so I can convey this information back to my husband when he gets home from work tonight?
