1997 Nissan sentra DOHC 1.6 liter dual timing chain, upper & lower timing chains where r the timing marks supposed to be positioned to in order to perfectly be in time

I believe you have to make your own marks before you remove the chain so you can line it back up.
I just checked on alldata and thats the only thing they showed about timing marks.

For the 1994 Nissan Pickup 2.4 l engine, does it have a timing chain, or timing gears? I was told years ago this particular engine has gears. Today, I was told a chain.

This Nissan should have a timing chain instead of a timing belt. I suggest taking it to a shop and letting a professional look at it. I have had a 98sx chain slip 180 degrees often.
