is the oil in my peugeot 206 quicksilver 10w40 synthetic or semi synthetic oil ?, thanks.

It does not matter because the engine can run on either and if you need to top up the oil level you can use either as you can mix the oils. If changing the oil use full synthetic.

Preferably only use fully synthetic and only use the grade specified by the manufacturer. There are various oils of the same grade formulated for different engines so check before buying and only use the one suitable for the Renault engine in your car.

The important issue with your engine oil is to have it changed regularly. Whatever the manufacturer states as the change interval (such as every 10000) half it and do it at 5000. Manufacturer recommended change intervals assume absolutely ideal operating conditions for the engine which few owners will ever run there cars at. Most owners are running there cars in severe conditions with lots of cold starts, short runs, stop /start in traffic and so on. These are sever conditions for engine lubrication, the oil deteriorates faster, is more contaminated and needs to be changed more frequently.

whats the max amount of miles you can drive on a 1990 toyota celica gts with the first engine?

If well maintained and with regular service this engine can last up to 150,000 miles. Remember, this means changing all fluids regularly, changing the hoses and belts regularly and just keeping the engine in tip top condition. No racing, no over revving, etc.

low oil presure light and bell keep ringing

Check your car engine oil level as insufficient oil can cause this condition: top up as required and check for any excessive oil leaks.
If the engine oil level is 'normal', ensure that your oil filter is functional and not clogged (it will get clogged if you did not change it on a regular basis when changing oil): change as required.
If the above are OK, then you have a major problem because of faulty oil pump or worned oil (rubber) seals !
Hope it helps!

Someone told me about synthetic oil and that it was suggested for my 2007 Cadillac DTS. I looked under the hood but don't find any sticker stating that synthetic should be used. It is quite a bit more expensive than regular oil BUT I want to do what should be done in order to keep it running smoothly over the years.

Hi!!

In your owners manual you'll find the manufactured recomended oil which is 5W30. Synthetic oil will work and protect your engine twice as long as regular oil. I use synthetic on my wife's car so I don't have to change it as often.

The choice is yours. Don't forget to rate this answer.

Just bought a 1994 Nissan Cefiro auto. It didn't come with a glovebox sized manual. I need to know how oftern the oil needs changing and/or topping up and what about water and what petrol does it use.

It takes unleaded regular gasoline. I'm assuming by water you mean coolant. check the overflow container if it has one, should have lines on it for hot engine and cold engine. Standard oil changes on most cars, if using regular oil, is 3 months/3,000 miles. depending on driving conditions.
