same answer for all modern cars for sure IMMO there
- immo lamp blinks wrong for bad key and will not crank/start! or keyswitch bad. or key bad.
- battery is bad, use jumper cables to prove that or load test that battery in a shop after charging it up fully.
- fuses blown. check all fuses, cab and engine bay, all. (first)
- alternator died and now battery is DISCHARGED again jumper cable jump starts prove that out.
- if the jumper cable start works the cluster lamp(gen/charge/battery ) lamp must stay out at idle and driving , << huge clue
- the PRNDL switch fails in Park and Neutral both cranking.
- the starter relay is bad.
- the starter is bad, we can hot wire it ,key in pocket, test it. easy ask. how, all shops know how, and all gear heads too.
- bad wiring to any or all the above. fails.
- Scan the PCM just after cranking, keep key at ON to do so and see the PCM tell you why it failed.hummmmmm magic.

How do I syphon the gas out of my 2002 1500 Chevrolet Avalanche.
Siphoning gas out of a vehicle can be a hazardous and potentially dangerous task. Additionally, it may be ******* in some jurisdictions. If you need to remove gas from your 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, it is recommended that you consult a professional mechanic or automotive technician for assistance.
If you still choose to proceed with siphoning the gas yourself, here are some general steps to follow:
- Park the vehicle on level ground and turn off the engine. Be sure to engage the parking brake.
- Locate the fuel tank. In the case of your 2002 Chevrolet Avalanche, the fuel tank is located underneath the truck bed.
- Locate the fuel line. This is the hose that connects the fuel tank to the engine.
- Insert a siphoning hose into the fuel tank through the fuel filler neck. Make sure the hose goes all the way to the bottom of the tank.
- Use a manual pump or a vacuum pump to start the siphoning process. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for the pump you are using.
- Once the fuel starts flowing, make sure to keep the siphoning hose lower than the fuel tank to maintain the flow of gas.
- Continue siphoning until you have removed the desired amount of gas from the tank.
- Once you are finished, remove the siphoning hose and dispose of the gas in accordance with local regulations.
Again, please exercise caution when attempting to siphon gas from your vehicle, and consider seeking professional assistance to avoid any accidents or legal issues.

Check the body and engine ground connections, particularly the connections for the ground wire(s) to the engine computer. A corroded or broken ground connection will raise havoc with electronic circuitry.
You can usually find usable wiring diagrams in the Haynes repair manual for your vehicle. Check your car parts stores for the book; it's worth the money.
