How do I fix the trunk light in a 2005 Chevrolet Impala

What is actually wrong with it? Try the basics first. Have the dome lights inside the car stopped working as well? This could be the fuse has blown. If it is only the trunk light it may be the bulb has blown. Another possible cause is the actual switch the trunk lid pushes on is faulty.

I would use OEM parts, not after market as this sort of thing can happen and cause problems. Sounds like you need a different hose for the replacement housing.

2014 chevrolet cruze 1.8l what can cause a coolant leak some where the thermostat housing?

there has been a recall on some year cruz about coolant leaks. Check with NHSTA.gov to see if you are included. If not you will have to replace housing hoses and any plastic connections around thermostat housing that carry coolant. Chevy Cruze Antifreeze or coolant leaks typically appear in the thermostat housing of affected vehicles, though it can also leak from the recovery tank house or the throttle body heater inlet pipe in cars with 1.8L engines

2014 Chevrolet Cruze 1.8. What is the meaning of code P0597 and how to fix It?

Hello Joe I deleted that other answer as it was AI Chat GPT4 generated. I saw you asked for videos and there is three below. The most common cause of the P0597 code is a faulty thermostat; if the thermostat simply isn't working anymore and needs to be replaced, you'll likely receive this code.

p0597 Code - Thermostat Heater Control Circuit/Open ' KBB

What happens is the the ECM is looking for a certain temperature to be reached in a certain length of time. If it isn't, it throws the code. Read this Tip of mine first. You may have air in the system. https://www.fixya.com/support/r29872074-vehicle_cooling_system_no_heat

I have a 92 Chevrolet truck got the 350 in it. I replaced plug plug wires call distributor cap and rotary button. Sometimes when it's warm it will start but when it gets cold it will not start

Check the coolant temperature sensor. A bad sensor will cause a very rich fuel mixture not allowing it to start.

2002 Chevy Cavalier not getting 12 volts to the fuel pump only getting nine

Your better off finding the cause of the issue. Modern cars have so many sensors and electronics 'bypassing' electrics will become a Huge headache and put a massive dent in your bank account if it goes wrong! Have you had the battery "Load Tested"? This is where they put a heavy voltage drain on it and see how it copes with it. How old is the battery? A battery can still hold 12 volt but be weak when it's got to supply power to high drain parts like the starter motor. Generally batteries are considered 'Old' when they are over 5 years old, especially on bigger and higher mileage engines. The fuel pump relay should get power as soon as you turn the ignition to the second position so it can prime the fuel system before you start the engine. I've posted an answer to your Fuel pressure test question and in the video I've attached he shows you a quick "cheat" to test if it's the relay.

Torque specs for inner joint bolts to diff. 2004 chevrolet 2500 4x4 front axle

The torque specifications for the inner joint bolts that connect the front axle to the differential on a 2004 Chevrolet 2500 4x4 may vary slightly depending on the specific model and components used. However, I can provide you with some general torque guidelines. Please note that it's essential to consult your vehicle's service manual or contact a qualified mechanic for the exact torque specifications, as they can vary depending on factors like the specific front axle design and any aftermarket modifications. Here's a rough estimate:
  • Inner Joint to Differential Housing Bolts: Typically, the torque specification for these bolts is in the range of 85-100 lb-ft (115-135 Nm). However, it's crucial to verify the exact torque value from your vehicle's service manual.
Always use a reliable torque wrench to ensure that the specified torque is applied accurately, and follow proper tightening sequences and procedures as outlined in the service manual to prevent over-tightening or under-tightening, which can lead to problems with the front axle and differential.
